Don't know - I guess it would be expensive - my budget is max 20k USD
What about the Mahindra xuv 500, I bought one for my dad three years ago and he absolutely loves it. It won't be a compact some serious advantages wrt to safety, power. I drove it last year when I went home the gear box is decent, power is enough for our roads, suspensions is pretty good and so is the styling.

I looked into it - was over my budget. Finally goal posts were shifted and we went for MPV instead - Renault Lodgy

Bought the car, unfortunately it was none of the probable candidate but a taxi called Renault Lodgy :(

Spectre Senior liked it and dug his heels in. So in essence I have two Innovas - curse my luck!

U should have protested and gone for Creta instead :( .

But nevertheless Congrats buddy now take it for a spin :D.

Delivery after Dhanteras. The good thing is that car has Cruise Control and Parking assist and Navmag. And it is spacious as hell, I can move houses in this cow

It depends on the purpose, A good choice if you have more than 5 passengers...... Value for money...... But havent seen many lodgies on road....

Lodgy is Duster only - just bigger. What is up with stupid names by Renault?
These days car manufacturers give names which means something to them and nothing to the customers. Passat, Jetta etc sound funny to me. The sexiest name of all is BMW-X6, i like the vehicle and its name.
I checked lodgy's pictures, it looks long and spacious, but I still think duster would have been better- parking wise. :)

I liked Lodgy's features: Cruise Control, Parking assist and Navmag.
1) parking assistance- Ah! I <3 this feature. Somebody like me needs it for sure.
2) Navmag: Does that mean in-built GPS?
3) Cruise control- this is something I use sporadically in my vehicle, because I have heard of many incidents when the cruise control jammed the brakes. I am not sure if you will use cruise control in India unless you're going for a long trip....on a smooth road. In and around kerala, smooth roads are a luxury. I am not sure which city you live in?(most prolly Kolkatta I guess). Kolkatta's the only metropolitan city in India that I have never visited so I do not know anything about it. :)
Are these features included in the basic model or did they charge you extra? Just curious!!!
