This was hard to watch. He looks like a kid. If they've caught him, why don't they just hand him over to the police? Is the police in Cape Town complicit with such criminals (like it is often in Pakistan). I think the beating was way too excessive. Absolutely merciless! I have more respect for the guy in red who kept trying to tell the others to stop. What's saddening is that the OP and others on this forum are happy to see such violence. I was once traveling on a train in Pakistan. There were some Sudanese students in the same carriage. Some old uneducated woman says to me, "in se baat na karna, yeh log shaitan hote hain"

Lack of education and "contribution to science and technology" is not about colour or race. It is about education, circumstances, exploitation, history, and many other factors. They are not the way they are because they are black. We have worse people in Pakistan. We have worse people among East Asians and Europeans too. And we have noble black people. You must not generalize. Racism is a generalization based on a stereotype.
