What's new

Can't we all just get along?

I don't dislike Indians, nor do I like them. I just don't care about them that much.

On a personal level I've had mixed interactions with Indians, had some good conversations with Indian Muslims and Hindus. Sikhs well...not so much.

Just being honest with you guys. Coz it's a trend here to think that it's us who run after you.

Most Indians don't like you very much.

And again, as for India and Pakistan, if the Kashmir issue is resolved permanently by reunification of both countries then there need not be any enmity.

British are Not coming back.

Nor the mughals.

The word Indian is highly controversial. You just keep repeating Propaganda like a mormon.

Oh you guys are too gangster :nhl_checking:

Seriously tho, I have a suspicion not a few of you guys actually enjoy the back & forth w/ your "enemies", even when it gets nasty; its venting. Tough day at work/school/traffic - log on to PDF - Go Nuts - rinse/repeat. I also suspect if you ever really encountered someone from "the other side" truly in harm's way, most of you wouldn't hesitate to help.

And as per request by @Goenitz :azn:

I nearly meet daily Indians, Sri lankans, Bengali etc.. I hate those videos as first of all, these are fake. Secondly, it is childish. As child doesn't knwo enemy of friend they want to play/laugh/be friends with all...

I am talking about who take decision. Army/Bureaucracy/Politicians/Public opinion makers etc... Do you know Brahaman Hindu do not allow Dalit Hindu to worship lord ram as tehy think dalits dont deserve teh right..

A scociety which is divided on little things, and craete a huge issue on these petty things cannot sustain..

We can get along, as proved by the vid. As also proved by the trip to Pakistan of the Indian ( Hindi ) film actress, Swara Bhaskar, after she so ebulliently spoke of her trip on a Pakistani TV talk show.

But I don't know if these "social experiments" should be conducted because they turn out to be fake and if this is known to those who participated in them then they will be disappointed.

@Goenitz ^^^

I dont think so we can unify in near future... I think tehre will be more divsion if people get richer and educated.. Even present India can only survive if states depend each other on economy/travel/resources etc.. Otherwise, parity like Maharashtra enjoy, why they will like Bihari (Bihar itself) to giev subsidy..

Then there is identity issue.. Like Scottish held refrendum to be separated from UK, Catalan referendum (mainly economic) etc..
So pakistan and india even can't be united if Kashmir is resolved. I think, even we will not have good relations after. As per our psyche and maturity. We need just one incident to roll back to square one..

Boy you do realise we are not here "running after you" right?

There is actually only one reason any Indian comes here for.

Though they might eventually stay on for others.

As someone of Korean ancestry, their is one eternal foe, taught to us from birth: the Japanese. All the evil they have perpetrated, all the lies they have told, etc etc.

Many years ago, following my mother to the supermarket, I got bored, so I went out into the parking lot to make mischief. I chanced upon another boy, also Asian. We said hey, your mom shopping too? We exchanged names.

"You're Japanese?!", "Yeah. You're Korean?", "Yeah...". We stare at each other, then I say, "I hate you". "I hate you too". We glare at each other a bit more, then we see some shopping carts.

"Wanna mess around with the shopping carts", I say gruffly. "Yeah", he growls. And we angrily start to mess with the shopping carts, and angrily have fun. Until the big Indian manager comes running out, with his big turban, big beard and big belly, yelling "Hey! You boys! Stop that!" (it would be several more years until I would learn what a "Sikh" was).

We look at each other; "Run!". So we run, the two enemies, from the greater enemy, the big hairy adult who encourages us with cries of "Get out of here!".

To my shame, this would not be the last time I would fraternize with the enemy, and I fear I will relapse again in the future

@Goenitz :cry:

India v Pakistan world cup match.

Pakistani run restaurant with the customary "Indienne" signage.

They were warm and invited us in to watch the match. Offered us drinks (sodas).

I remember not one of us (group of five, across age groups) sat down.

Only one of us accepted the soda.

That is what I said, this hate is killing you inside making you look like aliens

To give you a piece of our mind in your own home.

Because admittedly there are few if any Indian forums where you are welcome or will survive, leave alone giving it back.

We can get along with anyone except two types: 1) bengledashis; and 2) iranis.

.
Nope. The increasing entropy worldwide demands a bloodbath and natural chaos as mankind has failed to expand beyond its planet when it could have; hence no getting along, time for a survival of the fittest or extinction of the species.

@MilSpec The answer to your question.

.
Pakistanis don’t hate Indians. We only dislike the policies of your government. We do however try to avoid Indians. We try not to think about India or Indians.

However quite recently, pretty much anywhere I have been in proximity to an Indian from a distance they give me the same look. Angry constant stare or looking at me then pretending to look the other way. Quite embarrassing for them, really.

Why do Indians behave like this? It is quite uncivilized.
