That's Phase one this continues we have to set budgets for other things because our laws puts Education and health then defense (you can blame the commie Maoist and the so called nationalist dumb@$$es in congress for that) one top priority but according to the DND they working on adjusting the budget for modernization for the next phase right now the basic is the top priority like replacement of old weapons, ships, new armored vehicles, new planes , Rebuilding base and building new bases and more technologies (like buying missiles from Israel and America buying UAVs etc) then moving up to buy subs, more planes, tanks, ships etc so its budget and priorities and since we been hit by a earthquake and storm this year majority of the money will put on Reconstruction on the affected provinces.

Don't get me Wrong Education, Health care and reconstruction is good but those should be second only for the military and security needs then those elements the first act of a sovereign country is to defense but frankly the dumb@$$es don't know that and the arrogant stupid imps and that trash bin faker is only using this a card they no other means so they use propaganda of half truths and whole lies if you follow their post here. Indonesia is indeed a potential one of leaders for Asean. The emergence of Indonesia will be good to Singapore. The only obstacle for Indonesia development is too many Muslim there wanted to go the way of Islamofacism.

Nevertheless thanks to the socialist Sukarno, Indonesia is the few among Muslim majority countries who give full religious freedom to minorities. In early days, a lot of Singapore's wealth are due to managing the capitals of rich Indonesians.

I am just asking you, what a mere 2,6 billion US dollar for five years plan of modernization can do and can buy? Even a single modern frigate like DZP or Fremm alone will cost around 1 billion US dollar including packaging for maintenance, missile system and spare part and crew training, let alone your wish to procure around a squadron of fighter, 2 units of SSV, submarine forces, and another expensive stuff like modern medium Helicopter, AAV like LVT7A, 155 cal Howitzer and so on. From all of countries in South East Asia, is only you Philippine who taking the long road to modernize their military might. And yet, here you people are still bragging about to crush the Chinese military forces and dream big to challenge them frontally in South China Sea dispute and almost bringing instability and chaos around ASEAN region with your people selfishness. What an armed forces who comprises of WW II era destroyer escort Navy, OV-10 Bronco leads air forces and V-150 armored car army can do?
