Raising child abuse at alarming rate is a concern for many parents these days, not only in Pakistan but all over the world.
I spend many years of my life in Karachi/Pakistan. When I was a kid in last 80's and early 90's, I used to play outside a lot and my father didnt use to care much, however, this is not the case anymore, not only in Pakistan and almost everywhere.
Streets and neighborhoods are full of filth's and usually its has been found that offender is either a family friend or close relative to the poor victim's.
Million dollar question is, how to curb the raising child abuse?
I my opinion, rules are laws are not harsh enough, therefore, offenders know that they could get away while exploiting system's loopholes (through their lawyers), use money and influence. However, if capital punishment becomes legal penalty than it could help to curb the issue, I believe.
Thoughts?
