I have created this thread to make every one aware of Indian trade-promoters in Bangladesh. These are people brazenly living in Bangladesh and conducting operations locally to harm Bangladeshi trade.
Incidentally these Indian companies end up only hiring Indian people and stay away from hiring locals unless they happen to be Hindu. This is standard Bharti practice.
In any case, First person of interest today is,
Dilip Kumar Agarwala, Director, FBCCI, Managing Director, Diamond World and General Secretary, Bangladesh Jewellers Samity.
I am amazed how an Indian passport holder can become a director of one of our primary industrial trade bodies and also hold an official post of our primary export trade organizations.
That's him - second from the right. And a story of how to siphon money to India from Bangladesh, which thankfully, might not succeed. No one trusts Indian businessmen. Notice how they forgot to mention that the third rate diamonds are Indian and they just licensed the De Beers name. Dhokeybaazi again.
The world famous diamond brand "Forevermark" has been launched at a glittering ceremony at the ballroom of The Westin Dhaka in the city on August 25 under the patronisation of "Diamond World."
Forevermark diamonds of De Beers Group of Companies are the world's most carefully selected diamonds. Less than one per cent of the world's diamonds are eligible to become a Forevermark product. Every Forevermark diamond is inscribed with a Forevermark icon and unique ID which is an assurance that the diamond is beautiful, rare and responsibly sourced. Moreover, each Forevermark diamond is genuine, untreated and natural.
Dilip Kumar Agarwala, Director, FBCCI, Managing Director, Diamond World and General Secretary, Bangladesh Jewellers Samity, was present at the launching ceremony along with Sachin Jain, President, Forevermark India.
Sachin Jain, President, Forevermark India said, "Forevermark is proud to be associated with Diamond World as they are leading jewellers in Bangladesh, who are known for their quality, service and ethical practices."
"Forevermark only partners with authorised retailers such as Diamond World Limited, who are not only leaders in their field, but also meet the brand's stringent criteria of business, social and environmental integrity. Diamond World's exquisite design and craftsmanship enhances the beauty of a Forevermark diamond and we look forward to a long-standing relationship with them," said Sachin Jain.
Known for combining superior quality and exclusive designs to produce elegant masterpieces, Diamond World Limited will carry forward the Forevermark promise of being beautiful, rare and responsibly sourced, he added.
"I have introduced the brand in Bangladesh, considering the demand and changing tastes of the consumers, so that Bangladeshis do not have to go abroad to buy this brand's products, spending their precious time and money," said Dilip Kumar Agarwala.
"I want to create a sense of constructive competition in the market," he added.
