Social media activist? What is this, an instagram photo shoot?
I'm talking real politics, not facebook politics. He could've given Kashmiris real representation in the government, maybe even implemented many of the things they're asking for. If his brother was wrongfully killed and if he could highlight that in the government, he might even have gotten support from other political factions in India, at least support for justice on his brother's behalf. Instead he picked the gun, knowing full well that'll make him a terrorist to be hunted down.
Picking a gun and running out to get some sweet revenge is the default action anybody will do. He probably wasn't the first to get killed trying to get revenge and I'm sure he won't be the last. What did he achieve by becoming another spoke on that cycle?
Some members here just want something to scream against India more than peace for the Kashmiris. These are the ones who go full throttle on notions like Shaheed = job well done, or think that you can achieve more by dying than living.
