BSF plans using drone on Indo-Bangla border

Some of the poster here did mention top priority is intelligence.
Hmmm, me thinks something is wrong with their intelligence ability.:sniper:lol.these will be in BD boarder for trigger happy killers to kill more ppl.
To days Prothom Alo reported another BD farmer was killed inside BD territory by BSF.Again.

kyun bhai, any step taken to stop them from pole vaulting is too less imo. we need drones and the electrified fence.

lmfao.....i certainly agree with you, please . our people are so bored to see indian kuriya dancing on those poles, that they sometime get on it :v , just enjoy the show mate ... :v
We are willing to provide Anzas if you are willing to shoot them down.

no thanks, we got it. taking down these drones is rather a political/military decision, not a logistical one. Pakistan should stop training Myanmar naval personnels to improve relations with BD.

Not really. uavs are not the best for surveillance of a border like Bangladesh. In fact, usage of a uav require prior intelligence. The better option would be to go for ground based imaging systems or high res cameras deployed on aerostats. But, the problem with aerostats is that, the area is susceptible to storms.
you got some brains compared to lots of other deshi trolls.... people cross the border for various reasons, legal and illegal. If we can solve these problems and co-operate effectively, both country can allocate our resources in much needed other areas. look at the root of the cause of these actions. No offense, it sure sounds to me like some show off and opportunity for corrupt peoples to make money.

Hahah.....

Birth of BD is result of 13 day IA enjoyment in 71.

So, Please, spare us from this internet Bravado!

oh please, here comes the chest-thumping teacher of history. The birth of BD is a result of many incidents from 1952-1971. Don't know them?? Sure you got some MB left to google. go google.please spare us your lessons.

Wouldnt static observation balloons with high resolution cameras be a more cost effective option? experts @Abingdonboy @Skull and Bones @Dillinger @sandy_3126

Static observation balloons/aerostats are dependent on environmental conditions. The BD area is susceptible to storms and heavy rains. This creates problems for their usage. Hi-res cameras can be used. But, the point to be asked is why do you want to deploy such a system? When what you need is viewing range of less than 500 mts.

Dada, congratulations to BD. But, don't underestimate us. We are 4th/5th successful country in space science. You will find our contributions below
Indian Space Research Organisation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

By the way, you also have your share in our success as we were one country then:-

Modern space research in India is most visibly traced to the activities of scientist S. K. Mitra who conducted a series of experiments leading to the sounding of the ionosphere by application of ground based radio methods in 1920's Calcutta. Later, Indian scientists like C.V. Raman and Meghnad Saha contributed to scientific principles applicable in space sciences. However, it was the period after 1945 which saw important developments being made in coordinated space research in India

1) S. K. Mitra researched and developed radio science or wireless.

2) C. V. Raman discovered the change in wavelength of light when passed through a transparent material and

3) Meghnad Saha was an astrophysicist

I think, S. K. Mitra is more related to the future development of radio communications for satellite science. By the way, it is Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, a nephew of CV Raman, who was one of the greatest astrophyisicists in all the times. He contributed to this branch of science along with Einstein.

1) So, educate us on the "Chandrasekhar Limit" in a way that even half-illiterate guys from a Muslim Bangladesh can also understand and appreciate it.

2) Also, post a glimpse of knowledge on why and how Black Holes are formed. Study the book "A Brief History of Time" and other books written by the brilliant astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, learn about cosmology, and educate us, please!!!

every country has every right to employ its best practices to protect its borders. India may not have anything against BD directly but BD and Pak arent exactly enemies. and neither is BD and China. It is up to India to maximize surveillance along the border which is often difficult terrain. UAVs are a really good mechanism that can do the job with the least amount of expenditure and also no loss of life as well in case of crashes etc.

If you have nothing nefarious against India then you have nothing to worry about. Any transgression by India against a non-aggressive BD is always seen as a bully act by international community. But as long as India keeps its activities within its borders, no one can stop them and its their right.

These are only unarmed monitoring aids which will guide our forces to where they should be," said retired BSF IG SK Dutt

Interesting, Shouldnt then Bangladesh army operate them to know where THEY should be?

@asad71

1.Disregard what this guy says, observation will be followed by firing capability.

2.BD has a compact land surface with dense population in the border region also. We will have to deploy counter-measures. We shall arm villagers eventually and announce awards to anyone shooting down any predator.

3.BD will have to acquire swarms of own UAVs from China to go on the offensive on the border.

First of all, it's not a predator drone, secondly why the heck would you shoot down something which is not even flying over your territory :undecided:.

I was losing hope that some sensible person would also post
& here you are :usflag:

Feeling sorry for BN.... BGB, the Army and BAF will have all the fun in this target practice.... :(
But good thing is, when you can get targets for free, why buy them spending money? :)

On another point, we're humans; we don't shoot humans. Shooting unmanned machines are a much better proposition.

Nice choice of name  Bad boy :nana:
Anyway - for spying we have satellites - we can (and probably are monitoring on a grand scale). Drones are just to do a close surveillance of the border. Nothing secret about it. The BD authorities have been informed as well.
You are spying/interfering on every neighbour in one way or another and give some lame excuses. Just like USA presents some artificial excuse to invade other countries.

what name???
by the way, why india has this neighbour-phobia that every one in this region has one mission
To Invade India

You see that mostly on PDF :cheesy:

Our drones are bullet proof, armor designed by our rawamy dalals :chilli:
