No one trying to defend India on such issues but argument is that rape Incident happens in Pakistan, China and other countries as well but no one open a thread and start attacking on India.

But , people here just want to show frustration on India. So they always looking to find a news and open new thread but forget about own country status.

Rape is a big crime and very sad Incident that is happening in India, Pakistan and the world and rapiest should be punished hardly so that anyone will afraid to do so.

Indians usually try to resort to "you too" gimmick to defend criticism to their social ills and whitewash the severity of the problems that made India stand out in the first place. Some would even use wiki pages to prove that India has less violent crimes against women than America and Europe, pretending not to know the fact that such crimes are severely under reported in India due to various reasons.

It carries a severe punishment in the court in the matter of month, and convicted rapists are looked down upon even by other convicted criminals in the jail. "Gang Rape" is the worst kind of attack on women, and it is almost unheard of in China. It carries much heavier punishment than individual rape case, up to death penalty.

This is the behaviour I see mostly commonly from bharatis. You criticize something in their country, and the usual response are "your country too" or "this other country too" to deflect criticism. I honestly do not see this from any other country. You can talk to people in US, Canada, UK, France or any other country and they do not deflect criticism like bharatis do. I find this unique to bharatis in how commonly this happens. Why is there so much insecurity in bharatis?

I dont feel bad for these stupid westerners, they probably watched a bollywood movies and thought this is how it going to be in real India.

True i felt no sympathy for her she doesnt deserve any. When there have been issued several travel advisories against India and so much has been reported yet they chosoe to visit it n that too in festival season and that too the temples and crowded places where chances of getting grazed and fondled are higher.

They deserve it for choosing their travel destination. No westerners r not into bollywood , indians know the art of self promotion n image buildi, they ahve managed to build an image based on three things .1. First lying about being inehritors of IVC civilization. 2. Print bollywood images in magazines and written articles on them to portray an image 3. Have painted a super culture rich and colorful image of india which is what attracts tourists.

But still there has been extensive reproting of haarssment n rape issue yet they choose to go there.
