Psychology suggests psychopaths such as these were also once victims of sexual abuse during young age to which it was normalised. To them it’s ‘ok’. This cycle can be broken and though it may not completely get rid off it, it certainly will reduce producing further predators.

Anything else is lack of law enforcements carrying their tasks properly. That’s a policy and strategy that needs to be worked on. It’s the Government’s job to ensure this. My parents didn't tell me about sex education, I learned on my own through natural process while growing up.

Its not a case of awareness. Its a crime. We are teaching our kids that stealing is a crime, yet we got the thieves as our leaders. Does awareness preventing the crimes?

To critique them you gotta understand them. A section of the society believes that the criminals need to be re-educated instead of culled. This belief is somewhat true is some crimes, say stealing, fraud etc. But these guys tend to forget that the biggest fear in this world is fear of ones own life. that is why murder has the punishment of death. You take another person's life. You pay with your own. period. Unfortunately, some people blurr the lines of these crimes and believe that criminals who have committed murder etc can also be re-educated and re-introduced in the society. Hence, you see these guys pointlessly debating on the demerits of death penalty. And since death penalty is in Islam which is an anathema to this section of the society, their stance if further hardened.

They do not necessarily want the criminals to go Scott free unless it is one of their own. They want them to be re-educated and re-introduced in the society as productive members. They do not realize that we do not have the resources or the time to carry out this fancy idea. hence, you see them arguing against death penalty without really seeing the ground realities.

If you were capable of understanding I said that in over 90% of the cases close relatives were the perpetrators of sexual abuse which isn't done once but occurs over the years. If a child is able to tell his parents that a certain relative has been touching him inappropriately , tell me does that not solve the problem ? Do you by any chance have the evidence for that 90% number cuz I've never heard of that number before and would like to know which study came up with that result, in what setting etc.

I agree that the liberal sections need to study our own religion first before harping on whatever the west says. On re-education and re-introduction, I think capital punishment are only allowed in Islam in just 7-8 types of crimes. Can't recall them now but I will search for them in a while. Anyways, for people committing less serious crimes, there were always put in prison or have to pay a hefty fine and after their punishments ended, they were released back. If a majority go back to crime then the re-education stuff during the prison term was faulty but if a minor population goes back then they are hardened criminals and should be dealt with much stricter sentences when caught again.

And before condemning the guy to death, let's wait for the official report as to what happened as some lady on twitter is hardly a credible source of information.
