I agree but it should be in this order.

1) decentralized power to district and union council level, which means development funds should be distributed directly to districts and municipalities instead of MNA&MPA.
2) Big cites like Karachi, Lahore, Hyderabad, Faisalabad, Pershawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi should be given more power and responsibility so they don’t cry about not having power.
3) Plan should be develop for creating multiple smaller administrative unites in Punjab.
4) create laws to avoid conflict between provinces and nation governments.
5)

Well I am very glad for Imran Khan's victory! If you recall, I had opposed him tooth and nail in this very forum in the summer of 2014 because of his politics of Dharnas (street agitation) but even then I didn't question his intentions or integrity. THE MOST important thing for any country is stability inside and the Dharnas threatened that--they would also set a precedent for a change in govt using street power.

This is indeed a fine moment for Pakistan and Pakistanis. Hopefully, Imran will be allowed to work, especially WRT to foreign policy, and perhaps Mr. Modi and Mr. Khan--the two leaders who could really sell a 'Grand Bargain' to a billion plus people--will make peace in South Asia.

PS. Look up District Central in Karachi: That was MQM's stronghold for 3 decades and indeed my entire family almost always voted for MQM with few exceptions for PTI and PPP. But yesterday all voted for PTI and MQM has been routed there now--the politics of Pakistaniat, instead of ethnicism--has come back to Pakistan, at least in D.Central--long after ZAB's death!

I am sure there has to be a plan before making any decision. Also new government must work forward transparent process of development funds distribution and audit process to review how money is being spent.

Yes. Punjab needs to be split otherwise not just in terms of unity but also in terms of size management.
South Punjab is suffering due to this North Punjab based feudal raj, the poor are just drowned out in a noise of metro trains and shining lahore. The rest of Punjab looks abandoned to the dogs.

Karachi and Hyderabad need to be split away too, create a twin cities concept and let local businesses have more stake in developing it.

Thank god for the FATA merger, now the need of the hour is to develop industry and local cities in FATA.
We have over population in cities like Karachi which needs to be put an emergency brake on and more urban centers opened up.

We also need Industrial Areas around Quetta and Sibi and Gawader and Chaman and other areas in Baluchistan and also KPK

Don’t know what’s the matter with you? When did ever post about Iranic feaurures? Thanks for completing ignoring the post where I congratulated Punjab for not letting candidates ethnicity determine their leader. Is that why you are mad? That PTI won the election? Please, don’t let your anger out on other people. Pakistan is a pluralistic society with many ethnicities, all should be honored and respected equally. Whether they are Punjabi, Pakhtun, Baluchi, Sindhi, Muhajir, whatever. Don’t spread hatred.

I thought something was awfully strange when I compared some of his posts with one of his post and he reminded me of that vedic hindu priestly king (who hopefully won't be allowed back anytime soon) he also wanted Pakistan to create provinces based on ethnicities.

Creating a separate province doesn’t mean that you are Anti-Pakistani or Indian. It is actually a manifesto and part of 100 day plan of the elected government of the Pakistan. I hope you know that!

nothing wrong with creating seperate provinces for ease of adminsteration, but it is very wrong to create them based on mazahib (sects) ethnicity and language.
