BREAKING NEWS: Explosion hits Shia mosque in Kuwait

so they want to be in the news around the world what would that bring them ?
t

They want to remind people that they can be lethal in places we don't expect. And that they have cards they can play. Look at the timing, the Kurds were on offensive in with coalition air strikes in Syria and are going south to Raqqah. ISIS responded by:

-Launching offensive in Hasakah, the Syrian army lost battle there and now ISIS is going after YPG

-Did surprise attack in Kobane with FSA uniforms and dealt big blow to Kurdish forces

-Targeted Westerners in Tunisia as repurcussion for coalition air strikes

-Targeted Kuwaitti Shias(not sure motive here)

........

So they do have some cards to play when in desperation. Which is impressive but Raqqa will be under attack in upcoming weeks and ISIS will probbsly go for north east Syria Kurdish areas.

.
I've been thinking. Terrorist actions like this for Saudi & Kuwait, put the leaders of those countries in difficult position. ISIS has attacked the Shias, not the government, so what does the government do? If it takes a very harsh approach to ISIS, then won't that encourage the group to attack the country more? But if they are lenient, then ISIS might not consider the country as the enemy, only the shias of that country as the enemy.

.
I think ISIS is being used to fuel some invisible hand's agenda (You know who I mean), Its providing the base to a foreign country to increase their influence in Syria and Iraq.
1-It gives a bad name to the resistance movements by her acts and thus dilutes people's sympathies towards them and tilting them in support of the regimes.
2-Whenever state is against ISIS, the state retreats hurriedly, opening space for sponsored militias and thus reassuring the world that that foreign country is the only solution to the crisis.
3-ISIS attacks the related minority targets in arab countries and fuel unrest and anger against the ruling regimes.
4-ISIS is allowed access to oil and resources to exist independently.
All this may be strange coincidences but they point to only one direction.

Kuwait to deport expatriates found to be behind rumours
Spreading malicious lies as dangerous to the nation as acts of terror, official says

Kuwait’s interior ministry has warned that it will deport foreigners who trigger or aid in spreading malicious rumours or fabricated news.

Sulaiman Al Fahd, the interior ministry undersecretary, also said that legal action will be taken against Kuwaiti citizens involved in spreading rumours.

“The security of Kuwait is a red line, and the interior ministry agencies will not be passive vis-a-vis anyone who attempts to undermine the country’s security or targets people’s safety,” the official said. “Kuwaiti rumourmongers will be referred to the public prosecution and foreigners who circulate unverified news will be deported promptly,” he said, quoted by Kuwaiti daily Al Jarida on Sunday.

The warning was issued one week after a bomber blew himself up at the Al Imam Al Sadeq Mosque in the capital during Friday prayers, killing 26 worshippers and wounding 227.

The attack, which drew strong condemnation from all segments of society, galvanised a nationwide campaign to stress national unity as the best way to confront terrorism and attempts to divide the country along sectarian lines.

On Friday, Sunnis and Shiites held a joint prayer in the country’s largest mosque in a bid to demonstrate that Kuwaitis stand united against all challenges. The Emir, Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, and senior officials attended the prayers alongside worshippers from both sects.

“We are taking stern action against rumourmongers because we believe they are not less dangerous than the terrorists,” Al Fahd said. “Both want to create a state of chaos, either through explosions and destruction or through rumours and malicious lies. Under the zero tolerance policy, foreigners will be deported immediately and Kuwaiti citizens will face justice.”

Al Fahd said that Kuwaitis, residents and the media should be careful in conveying and spreading information and reports.

“They all should verify the information before they spread them in any way,” he said. “They can contact the officials at the ministry of interior to verify details because the impact of rumours and lies is extremely dangerous. They could cause chaos and terror, and this is exactly what terrorist elements and groups want. The media department at the interior ministry is ready and willing to answer any queries about the security situation in the country,” he said.
