on occasion of sita's swambher they lied to ravan that lanka is burning ravan went to lanka immediately and find out it was lie there was no fire when he come back swambher was over and sita was wife of ram . so its logically make rawan angry . even when he abduct sita he did not harm sita . it was ram whom ask sita for agni pariksha and banwaas of years . so logically people should burn ram not rawan .
