That is why we are called south AsiansVery well explained. I assure you i can understand it very well because things are handled the same way on our side as well ... usually!!
The problem part comes when some retired army officers or current army men or politicians start trolling like this, that gives the media that much more of an issue to spice up.
See there are few officers who act as if there is a war and they are leading a troop.... For example gen Bakshi, He always shout on top of his voice and always agressive which ever channel he is, similarly there is one pirzada from Pakistan who is Bakshi's counter part....
But at times these shows run with a script.... Because i have seen these retired officers speaking sense one day, and the next day they will be back to rhetoric...... I have seen shows in which the opening remark by the host is made on the positions which the panelist are going to be taking...
It is very true that if you watch these news shows it seems that Pakistan and India are just about to go to a war. Good thing is that the people responsible know the hard realities of war so avoid it. However, the current Indian gov in a wave of there Indian/Hindu patriotism are taking it a bit too far but then again there will be sensible people there who will control the things. The people who matter MUST handle these issues with responsibility and leave the chest thumping and warmongering to the fan boy.
Well i agree there are few fan boys around.... even they are available in highest posts..... But most of them are inexperienced and under them you have an experienced lot be it bureaucrats or the military who knows their job well..... So few ministers will keep the fanboys happy and that will not change anything on ground......
