Boycott of Chinese goods: China warns of impact on India-bound investments

Now you are worried about Japan , Chinese goods are popular because they are cheap ..those who loves quality never prefer Chinese goods.

I myself preferred Chinese barber as they cost 8$ while other used to charge between 12-20$ .

I will not go to that barber if i know that part of these 8$ are going to be used against me only .

Hope you understany why Indians have started avoiding Chinese goods

See the Irony is Rich China is issuing warning to poor India for bycotting their goods :D :D

We don't really care and your trade with us is just too small for us to pay attention to. If you really want to hurt China, make yourself bigger and stronger first. until then, keep enjoying your daydreaming show.

India dont buy wont affect China!...then why China govt crying....
It's a position any government is duty bound to do ,even Bhutan did it, Chinese government will say the same. no more, no less.

.
Course that's also a joke we did decades ago, but we didn't know back then, we know now. Boycotting itself is a sign of weakness and stupidity.. Embargo is a sign of strength and power, you guys should try that.

The scenario that is happening in India is bit different. There is no official boycott or the ruling government imposed any restriction. This phenomenon is done by the public. The public are unpredictable, they might do it so for short term or long term. The government can't enforce the public to buy Chinese products or place an embargo which is against WTO agreements. This is democracy dude which I hope you never experienced in your life in China.

With 2% market share, definitely China won't impact much. But the economy is different. China imports raw materials and exports finished products. India can also do that. Any vacuum created by China by opting out of business ventures in India can be replaced with another nation. For sure, there will be dip and difficulty for India during initial phase but a recoverable one.

Finallly this not a sign of weakness and stupidity. In a way, you can consider this as a quest for safe guarding domestic industry.

.
Right if its of no impact then why your govt is issuing warnings ...ask them to be chilled , we dont want to hurt China or Chinese , we may not love China or Chinese but we dont hate them also , I myself admire China for many thing but I dont like them supporting terrorists in UN who are killing my fellow country men.

When we know my money directly or indirectly plays a role in such support to terrorists by Chinese govt.

We don't really care and your trade with us is just too small for us to pay attention to. If you really want to hurt China, make yourself bigger and stronger first. until then, keep enjoying your daydreaming show.

Boycotting is always people's own choice, that's true in both China and India, that's why I say we were used to be stupid, I lived in many countries and my experiences tell me that the system in China is the best, of course I have to admit those experiences don't include being a low caste untouchable citizen in a weird country. China is the single biggest market in the world , if there is a choice of losing Chinese market or Indian market ,I think no brain dead people will all make the same choice. What China tells you is just a polite way to say what you are doing to us we can easily do that to you.

Warning doesn't always mean war, very often it means something may have consequences, if you don't care , OK ,be our guest. China is no amatuer fighting trade wars with various nations, US, UK,France, Germany...

.
I agree with you @waz Sir but when people are going to spend some hefty price for goods they prefer either Japanese , Korean or German goods not Chinese .

Indian spend 50000 Rs ( approx 830 USD) on samsung phone , but I have never seen any one spending the same amount on Chinese phones .

People prefer lowers end goods from China like Toys and cell phones with in 5000Rs range , their major market consists of lower goods

Perception is strong that Chinese goods are not of good quality .

No offence but See stupidness is still there :)

You have shared linked to the electronic products manufactured in China. Chinese do manufacture are good quality products in many fields if they carry a reputed brand name. Especially electronic products, toys etc.

But majority of the products available here in local bazaar are the ones very poor in quality.

Business is all about making money . you can build the best product you think but if you can't get enough people to buy you will be soon out of business, case in point , Japan. Chinese companies are making huge money and start to buy up many world renowned well established companies because those companies are losing money fast and facing bankruptcy .What makes Chinese companies so successful around the world is we know what customers want and how much they want to pay.

No offence but See stupidness is still there :)
No offence we see that in many of you people and we believe probably that's the main reasons that drags your country back from moving forward like we easily did.

Fair enough , Chinese are good in business no doubt about that , even if they are doing business in India we dont have any problem , our problem starts when Chinese support people in UN who are behind the killings of Indians the point which you are continously ignoring

So don't get upset about Chinese government " warning" . It's just a polite way to tell you a trade war is coming , get yourself braced up.

Its a problem for sure I have no issues in acknowleding it , not sure it has to do anything with Chinese goods bycott , even if this problem is dragging us , we are happy with speed to tortoise , we dont need the speed to hare as the race is very long :)

I understand what you are saying mate, but believe me I own a pair of Q20's and a pair of Dr DRE beats, and the Q20's are better....The Gadget Show UK (famous tech show in UK TV) ran tests with random people and the Q20's came out better in every department. Even though the goods are cheaper, but they match more expensive brands for quality, that also explains the price differences you speak of. Of course Chinese TV's have to play catch up, but they are getting there fast. What people need to realise is that the Chinese economy is changing shape.

Race among different nations surely will never end , it started from the very first day when there were countries, what matters to us is what we can experience in our life time.
