Why do celebrities always think their opinions on various subjects matter so much?

She is not-so-popular an actress and sister of a more famous and successful actress. What she is doing is simple publicity stunt, trying to catch the limelight. Ah well, nothing wrong with that...

There is nothing wrong with having sex before marriage: Tanisha Mukherji

Actress Tanisha Mukherji, who is best known for her stint in reality show Bigg Boss and for being Bollywood actress Kajol’s younger sister, has said that there is nothing wrong with having sex before marriage, according to Times of India.

A couple of months ago, Deepika Padukone shared similar views in a short film, My Choice, which was part of Vogue India’s social awareness initiative #VogueEmpower. Deepika’s remarks received severe criticism from many notable female celebrities, such as Sonakshi Sinha, Kangana Ranaut and Sonam Kapoor.

“My choice. To marry, or not to marry. To have sex before marriage, to have sex out of marriage, or to not have sex,” Deepika was seen saying in the video.

And it seems Tanisha fully agrees with Deepika. During an interactive session arranged by Times of India between the ‘Neal ‘N’ Nikki’ star and her fans she was asked about her opinion on pre-marital sex. “I think it’s an individual choice and if that is what you believe in, there is nothing wrong with it!,” she responded.

Tanisha also spoke about her relationships with actor Uday Chopra and fellow Bigg Boss contestant Armaan Kohli. Talking about love, the actress said that for her love is understanding, acceptance and “crazy chemistry”. When asked about Armaan and Uday, she said that she believes exes cannot be friends.

She also denied reports that stated she is doing a film with ex-boyfriend Armaan Kohli.

Nothing wrong with that!...As long as the intentions are pure.

well it's true, that's how human nature is.. you can't impose old regressive ideas on a mass of people

their real nature and freedom will always prevail, and that's why despite all the sharia and 'vice police', the world's oldest profession still thrives even in islamo-fascist Saudistan.

try before buy :P

When fornification will become common and acceptable, and bastards (illegitimate kids outside wedlock) will outnumber legitimate children.

.
Its acceptable in their culture.

like @hinduguy said, khushboo was the first celebrity to say this just a few years ago and she faced court cases launched by the same kind of reactionary elements who in pakistan too would use moralistic wordings of culture and religion against similar things.

what is needed to be wiped out in south asia is self-imposed poverty, injustice and anti-human traditions.

i support khusbhoo's statement.

When fornification will become common and acceptable, and bastards (illegitimate kids outside wedlock) will outnumber legitimate children.

what is your opinion about "honor" killing and stock exchanges??

She is the moral authority in this subject, all Indians should rally behind her.

south asia has too much "culture" and morality... let her be the brave immoral one.

. .
Oh, honor killings don't take place in India? Do you want me to post news articles?
How about Sati? Sati was women empowerment at it's prime in India, isn't that right?

i agree... which is why i have been saying "south asia"... this was the last line in my previous post...
south asia has too much "culture" and morality... let her be the brave immoral one.

one older aquaintence of mine told me his general view of usa after his visit - "they are a uncultured civilized people".

south asia needs removal of morality and much of its "culture"... what south asia needs is civilization, which is something quite different from the first two... else let eastern bloc and western bloc occupy south asia and teach us.

problem with that statement is that when the delusional minds don't find consenting partners, they resort to rape, a huge social problem in India. Such statements don't help fighting the menace.

Not like there are no married rapists or that history hasn't recorded instances of rapes when such an attitude wasn't put forward. Those who are inclined towards acts of sexual violence will need no reasons, they & others will of course invent necessary excuses.

The first big acress to say this was khosboo.. she was brave.

She said it in that physical state?

Not to mention the tens of thousands of marital rape cases that go unreported every year in the subcontinent. ANYTHING without the woman's (or even man's) consent is rape.
