BLOOMBERG: TURKEY WILL PAY FOR ABANDONING THE KURDS

you forget Iraq before them. Iraqis are victims far befdore the Syrians.. it doesn't mean we should either ignore the suffering of one or another.

that's why it would have been a great strategy to help new kurd groups with turk military assistance:
- to weaken pkk
- to avoid is in north
- kurds and world would much more appreciate it

sure
like gulf states supported terrorism in Iraq
lot of countries are to blame. our two countries are the world champions of terrorism.

Ayn Al Arab is in Syria so I just talked about Syria. Iraq is similar but not as bad. No need to tell me. I have relatives in Iraq and know what is going on there.

No, it is the hypocrisy of the West and the Kurds that annoy me. Suddenly when they are in a bit of trouble the whole world community goes berserk but when BOTH ISIS and Al-Assad terror lunatics were killing Syrian and Iraqi Arabs and others such as Turkmens left and right barely anyone said anything.

All of this cannot be done. Just like KSA's and others plan of arming an opposition group to ISIS. It cannot be done. PKK has a long history in Turkey and YPG in Syria and it has a lot of support among Kurds. They do not see it as terrorist groups. This is a problem.

I do not know what "Gulf States" are. KSA is not a "Gulf state". You must mean the ancient historical region of Eastern Arabia. The original homeland of Sumerians and the ancient Dilmun civilization.

Eastern Arabia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

KSA as in government never supported ISIS.

Without the mass-murder of the Al-Assad terror regime (aided by Iran and Russia) ISIS and Al-Nusra would not exist in Syria. Many locals had no other alternatives. Either that or be carpet bombed or killed.

I don't think so because unlike Iran KSA as a government does not support terrorism but is praised for its fight against terrorism internationally and we are not the regime that is sanctioned by the whole world almost.

We have a problem with wealthy private individuals who support such groups (although they are only in the hundreds) and some clerics aside from 2000 misguided youth. That's all. Our government is an ally of the West and a very close partner.

Turkey asked the PYD to ditch assad, get away from the PKK and join the FSA. They havn't done that yet so its not Turkey's problem any more. The ball is in PYD's court.

if it is true i get that it is a big problem. thx

IS was made by CIA.
.
ISIS was made by Saudi Arabia/Qatar/Turkey. The US/Britain/France played a role but very minor in comparison to the former three. It is overwhelmingly the fault of Middle Eastern powers not Western ones.

.
Go cry to KRG for help, we Turks don't care what happens to pkk terrorists, you loose your citizenship when you fight for foreign army or join terrorist org.. in our eyes you can live or die. We quite frankly don't care.

.
I'm not Turkish so I'm not going to tell Turks what they should or shouldn't do. But aren't there some cases where you have to pick between between the lesser of two evils? PKK although brutal are at least sane. ISIS just want to take off people's heads.

This is pure nonsense. ISIS (originally) Al-Qaeda has killed hundreds of Saudi Arabians in the 2000's and kidnapped Saudi Arabian citizens in Syria and Iraq and also killed them and their primary goal is to overthrow the Al-Saud family which they say openly because they want to control Islam's two most holiest places (Makkah and Madinah).

All Saudi Arabians that have joined ISIS (about 1500-2000 people in total) HATE the Al-Saud regime and call them Al-Salol. Videos of this too and they have burned their passports. Videos of this too.

Moreover Al-Qaeda was not really created by anyone. The West, Pakistan, KSA and other Muslim states supported the legitimate Muslim fight against the brutal Soviets that killed 2 million Afghans. Among them was OBL. Later after the Americans left Al-Qaeda was created. OBL (half Yemeni and half Syrian) quickly lost his Saudi Arabian passport and since then he always conspired against KSA.

KSA is a KEY ALLY of the West and has been that for 80 years. A very close partner. All of that are idiotic accusations without any evidence that even the US has called nonsense.

Problem, I repeat, are some private and wealthy donors who support such groups, some radical clerics (now they have become more silenced) and the misguided youth (about 1500-2000) people.

Think before you write.

Where was you when the pkk did riot in Turkey? Burning and killing people because we dont help them?

I'm not saying you intentionally wanted this to happen. But you didn't ask many questions when it came to who you gave money, weapons or intelligence to. Overthrowing Assad was the main goal and little thought was given to just who might replace him.

More than 1,100 buildings, including 212 school buildings, 67 police department buildings, 25 district governor offices, 29 political party buildings, blood donation centers belonging to the Turkish Red Crescent Society (Kızılay), 780 municipality buildings and more than 1,100 municipality vehicles, ambulances and police vehicles have been vandalized during the clashes, Ala said.

What are you talking about? Do you think that KSA gave weapons to every Joe in Syria? It was given through intelligences and cooperation with regional allies AND the West. Do you think that the West had no say in this?

It is not KSA's fault that ISIS chose to kill FSA and take their weapons. Blame KSA for that. Yeah, right. Very logical indeed!

Oh really? The Syrians will obviously chose other people than Al-Assad who has mass-murderered them and who is a dictator. Obviously most Syrians do not want either Al-Assad or ISIS.

Saying otherwise is propaganda but maybe you believe that 99,9% of all Syrians support Al-Assad like the fake "election" that the Al-Assad regime made?

.
That the least a country can do...Beside 18% of the Turkish population is kurds. How does this frange of Turks are going to react if Kobane falls and kurds with whom the majority are related , get massacred by ISIS like they have done with the Shias, the yazidis, the westerners...
Why they wants the turks to help them
Why should the turks help them
They say(kurds have no friend only the mountain is their friend)
Also they say(the one who work with enemy of the kurds is not Kurd) then why should they work with their enemy???

Well, were did all thos 911 hijackers came from? Pakistan? Nopes. They were from KSA. And OBL is a Pakistani? Nopes. A KSA citizen. All I can see is that most wars here are related to KSA. Just like that Arabs have big hand in Pakistani politics. I mean, you give them the right to shoot hundred protected birds and these morons kill the entire population. Look how arabs treat workers from Asia. I think the evil is there my friend.

I fully understand the stance of Turkey on this, and frankly agree, they are in no way obligated to intervene if NATO and Europe don't go all in first.

But, nevertheless, from where I'm standing, Turkey is loosing the PR battle, and loosing it badly - and before someone comes in and tells us that doesn't matter, it matters a great deal...

It is incomprehensible to understand the brain of these cave man. They thought they were something and declared independence in these enclaves. They closed their eyes to the Arabs that were slaughtered around them by Assad and even worked together with Assad. And now revenge and retribution is coming their way, they beg Turkish army to help them

We don't care what the media is saying. Media already has double standards when talking about Turkey.
