I think NIFTY will fall to about 2007 levels of not 2004. Especially since this govt is also sure to fall.

How many times did you read or saw an economy of the size of India or smaller end all together without a come back ??? It's better not to talk about things (if) you are not sure about.

What you see is part of global economic cycle. After almost 5 years dream run the indexes were bound to correct. Only a fool will have not noticed this imminent correction. Seriously, I was expecting it for last 1.5 years, I would say it's pretty late and not yet corrected completely, almost every Midcaps and Smallcaps are still overvalued.

My investments are still showing me green... yes bank and PNB... both are running upwards...

Great. But mine is still in read. I had offloaded all banking stocks. Thanks god I did it weeks before PNB scam surfaced, but did a stupid think of offloading HDFC completely due to sheer fear factor. Now I only have Federal Bank in my kitty (that too mere 500 shares) alone will few IOB (which I bought just last week).

I'm still afraid of Banking stocks. There should be a lot more clarity on NPA before I can start thinking about it I guess.
