You do not understand the role of private contractors in modern warfare. This is why I chose to enlighten you.I always forget we have you on the forum to sprinkle glitter on a metaphoric turd to beautify it.
I am not a fan of Blackwater or similar services. In-fact, I find this stuff unsettling to begin with. However, better to understand what roles these organizations play in overseas expeditions, and modern warfare in general. My take is that these organizations operate under relaxed rules of engagement and are suitable for performing shadowy activities without political interference - a component of hybrid warfare strategy.
Russia have also made extensive use of private contractors in Syria to do its bidding much like US in Iraq - in case you didn't knew.
Blackwater not coming to Afghanistan until Pentagon approve, which may not happen because Afghan Taliban will object. Pakistan might also object to this move.
