Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent live interaction programme with party workers at Puducherry turned out to be an embarrassment when a party karyakarta (worker) asked the PM about the Centre's policy of imposing more tax on the middle class adding to the burden on the middle class section. News reports say that Prime Minister’s Office will exercise greater caution from now onwards in deciding on the candidates as well as the questions for the programme

Nirmal Kumar Jain, from Puducherry, had recently caused embarrassment to the Prime Minister after he said at the interaction that the Central government was focusing on tax collections, but did not offer the sops for the middle class.

PM Narendra Modi, who looked visibly taken aback by the question, quickly replied saying that his government was focussed on working for the common man. He added that this question was asked by Nirmal Kumar as he is a trader and it is only natural that he will ask such a question. PM Modi then ended the conference by saying "Puducherry ko Vanakkam."

Modi being a good orator/speaker is the greatest joke played on India. The only equivalent joke is that it's the only rationalisation left of the guy being a good candidate. Sure, this is an edited satirical video, but I've listened to him long enough.

Indeed, this is my humble opinion. Tastes may differ.
