What's new

Big tourism plans in store for Bangladesh .

You are very right about my holding a very low quality job. But, have I ever applied to you guys to get me a better job? If not, then why do you have to criticize my job? By the way, how long you the Golden Bengal people will support the division of labor? Is this not the reason that the country is a dirty shamble?

By the way, I am quite disappointed that it will take more than 100 years to get 1 million foreign tourists in BD. However, I expect things will change for a better after the completion of metrorail construction, hopefully. At least the would-be tourists will find a functional transport from the airport. You guys always bring shame to the country by talking futuristic projection when the government is busy with talking and not by taking practical steps.

@UKBengali, the knowledge you have about development, I have to ask again have you ever been out of Bangladesh, even to India? Yet, you are using a UK false flag. Another one is @Bilal9. He uses the US flag to raise his status. What kind of shameless Golden Bangla people you guys are!!

Btw, you need to improve the quality of your Air transportation services, from the quality of Airport officers, cleanliness of the airport, punctuality, and operator services. Airport is first gate for the tourist when visiting your country, first impression is very very important as tourism business is hospitality business.

Even when you had super ultra modern airport building when the services is sucks no body will bother to spent their money to taking vacation to bangladesh, for what? They want to be met with sincere smile of population, met a nice immigration officers who ready to help them without being worried to be cheated, they want to bought souvenirs with fair prices without worry being cheated blatantly. All is about hospitality and mentality to accept differences

I have often wondered about this, For all the fantasy crap they post in future tense often comparing and belittling other countries, It seems both of them lack any ground realities about countries around the world.. Despite sporting flags from the UK and US.. And when retorted with facts as it has happened in this thread and dozens elsewhere they resort to personal abuse and in the case of Mr. shitty CGI, blabbers something in Bengali.. Epitome of massive insecurity

Atleast @Homo Sapiens seems to promote the country within his limited capacity of knowledge.. He doesn't pretend to know better, Which you cant really fault with.. But the other two are comedy gems, Latest ruse is to correct English of other posters.. When neither are even aware of basic English grammar :sarcastic:

The biggest hindrance of tourism in BD being very expensive and transportation is sucks. YOu cant literally move point A to B. Hotels are very expensive, booze are rare. It is very difficult for tourist to find their way around without a guide. Comparing thailand and Indonesia, visiting BD is 3 times more expensive. I can go to thailand from BD and have a blast instead of coxs bazar for less price.
Not too long ago I was surprised seeing US embassies instruction for their traveller to wear modest clothes while visiting Bangladesh. Most western women wear Salwar Kameez a traditional Bangladeshi clothing while going out even though there are no dress code in Bangladesh for women.

Well you cant really compare South East Asia with anywhere else when it comes to competitive pricing for really good service.. Except Singapore that is, Which will cost you a arm and a leg

Singapore food courts past the tourist traps are some good value for money. Lot cheaper than groceries + cooking there.

Makes up for the high prices of everything else.

They (And dozen or so others) do seem quite different from the Bangladeshi's I have come across in general in Canada and US (who are more like anubis, zabaniyah, michael, ashes etc).

But I guess there can potentially be this minority of clueless negative quality kind of twit in all communities....that honestly we (normal ppl) all filter out/avoid even at subconcious level in real life (i.e friends/acquintances reluctant to introduce them or put them out front and centre....and thus they are kinda kept corraled socially outside the immediate local network).

They have a perma-soapbox to stand on here that they dont out there....so the contrast looks quite glaring from what we gauge out there (this is an issue with internet drama forums in general). Their equivalents w.r.t Indians, Pakistani, Chinese (other large membership prevalence) etc... communities can also be found in other parts of the forum.

She is missing her BD ex badly, wants to visit BD. Bangali boy done her head I guess...

Typical story...a few sweet well-placed words and your avg. woman is putty in your hands.

Of course there are exceptions. Sorry about OT comment.
