Bharti journalist Bit** slapped by the US State department

.
As if the British rule, which turned India from ne of the richest to one of the poorest countries in the world, hadn't happened. As if Gandhi wasn't forced to share a third class train compartment with "natives" while holding a first class ticket...

americans find indians so annoying, especially in white house where every time an indian origin reporter asks them a questions they roll their eyes up knowing the question is going to be pakistan specific.

bloody weirdos
How do you know that it indeed happens?

. .
It was a huge failure for Pakistan as it had to reduce militant infiltration into Kashmir vastly as it feared a war and thus a massive success for India.
It doesn't take much time to replace 800 soldiers given that Indian Army trains & recruits 70,000-80000 enlisted soldiers every year.
So you do agree, Indian soldiers are worthless and expendable?

You're right.

I am prepared to accept racial stereotyping of Indians as geeky, blundering, dumb, etc - even annoying. After all there is a vast cultural gap and as outsiders the duty to conform is always against us. Indians certainly have a big way to go in understanding social norms in America and there's plenty of awkwardness.

But it's better than being stereotyped as dangerous, radical, potential-killers subscribing to a theology that glorifies violence and coming from an unstable country that seems to enjoy threatening the use of n-weapons every other week . Americans today are unsafe and uncomfortable around Pakistanis and next to the reaction that such a perception provokes, I'd rather be just annoying.

Have a nice day.

Coming from a nation that soils its panties over Cold War,two front war, limited nuclear war.. It's ironic AF.

90% reduced infiltration is as good as victory.

:lol::lol:

In 2002 700 infiltrated in first 5 months and they were not even peak months(june-sept)

Target of Parakrama operation was, " who is going to kill more Indian soldiers, India or Pakistan, and I, a Pakistani, accept that we lost that war, we couldn't even touch a single Indian soldier while over enemy state India managed to kill more than 800 Indian soldiers. India won by 800:0 this is a big win I must say, Congratulations to you on killing some 800 Indian soldiers.

Yes, i'm sure a random Indian news outlet knows the exact amount of 'youth' joining the Kashmiri liberation movement.

He is right, India has introduced a punch card system for mujahidins, if they join a group like wani, they have to get a card, and if they enter in India they have to puch their cards on every entry, machines are put in place on border every 1 mile for the benefit of mujahids, so no one misses it and the count of infiltrations is up to date. No you get it sir? if you still think these Indian dumbos just pull these numbers out of their blackholes then you are underestimating the power of a true bhindian.

Gujarat government, MEA claim no knowledge of the businessman’s arrest
Amid enhanced security measures and immigration restrictions placed by the Trump administration, a Baroda-based businessman has been taken into custody at an airport in the State of North Dakota.

Law enforcement officials said he was booked for “terrorising”, and held at the Grand Forks County Correctional Centre.

Paraman Radhakrishnan was on a week-long business trip to the U.S., and preparing to return home when he checked in for a flight from Grand Forks to Minneapolis, Minnesota, early on Saturday.

Mr. Radhakrishnan then allegedly entered into an altercation with airlines staff, and was accused of threatening that there was a “bomb in his bag”, local newspapers reported. “Police say the leading theory behind what may have caused the suspect to make these threats is that he became disgruntled with airport staff, but they say regardless of the reason, any threat of this nature at an airport is taken seriously,” Grand Forks police spokesperson Jay Middleton said.

    Sushma silent
The businessman is expected to be produced in court on Monday, though the Centre and Gujarat Home Ministry officials claimed no knowledge of the arrest. Tweets from family members to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj appealing for help also were not responded to.

The Indian embassy in Washington told The Hindu that the consulate concerned has been told to “get in touch with the authorities and ascertain more details”.

“We have not received any details from the U.S. regarding the arrest of any person. Normally, the U.S. authorities first intimate the embassy in New Delhi, which would subsequently inform the Ministry of External Affairs, which would share details with the State authorities. We are the last to get information,” Pradipsinh Jadeja, Minister of State for Home and Non Resident Gujarati Affairs department, said.

Mr. Radhakrishnan’s family refused to comment on the matter until more details of the case were known.

However, sources confirmed that the businessman was allowed to call home for the mandatory “two minutes” to inform them of the arrest.

“It is all a misunderstanding, and we hope the matter will be resolved soon,” a source, aware of the case, said.

    Airport evacuated
The arrest of the businessman had led to the Grand Forks international airport being evacuated and operations being closed while U.S. Transport Security Administration (TSA) officials and other agencies checked Mr. Radhankrishnan’s luggage and screened the area.

The case comes against the backdrop of protests at airports across the U.S. against President Donald Trump’s executive order that has banned the entry of citizens of seven countries even if they hold valid visas or dual nationalities for the next few months.
