Bharti journalist Bit** slapped by the US State department

Epic Fail.
This video is from October.

As for Operation Parakram, it was a gigantic sucess it forced Pakistan to vastly reduce militant infiltration into Kashmir:

Epic fail seems to be your favourite term, did you grow up listening to it.
Forget what others asses or assume, listen to your own kind first.

India announced last night that it would withdraw thousands of soldiers from its border with Pakistan, making its most significant step towards reducing tension with its nuclear rival for nearly a year.
But in recent months senior Indian officers have admitted that their men are fed-up and need a break from the trenches.
The decision to withdraw comes after the elections in Kashmir which unseated the unpopular National Conference last week.

Casualties[edit]
The standoff inflicted heavy casualties. The total Indian casualties were 789–1,874 killed. Many accidents during the mobilisation were due to the poor quality of mines and fuses[2][3] Around 100 of these fatalities were from mine laying operations. Artillery duels with Pakistan, vehicle accidents, and other incidents make up the rest.[2]

Cost of standoff[edit]
The Indian cost for the buildup was ₹216 billion (US$3.2 billion) while Pakistan's was $1.4 billion.[27]

. .
The posturing costed enemy more than 800 soldier and then eventually forced the enemy to back off. It was a huge success for Pakistan.
It was a huge failure for Pakistan as it had to reduce militant infiltration into Kashmir vastly as it feared a war and thus a massive success for India.
It doesn't take much time to replace 800 soldiers given that Indian Army trains & recruits 70,000-80000 enlisted soldiers every year.

Ny times confirmed that Indian created entire mobilization to coerce Pakistan to reduce militant infiltration into Kashmir and it worked perfect3:

Many specialists believe that the Indian deployments were an exercise in coercive diplomacy -- a giant bluff to persuade General Musharraf to clamp down on Pakistani terrorists and to frighten Washington into taking India's demands seriously. But India's military preparations were so extensive that the Pentagon found it difficult to tell if the Indians were simply posturing or putting themselves in position to attack.

''I think from the beginning this has been a massive exercise in coercive diplomacy,'' said Stephen P. Cohen, an expert on South Asia at the Brookings Institution. ''The Indians used the threat of war to force Pakistan to back down. They have come out ahead -- as long as nobody makes a mistake.''

Also just because your Army did not reveal casualties doesn't mean that its casualties were not high.]

It was no failure for Pakistan. The death of 800 enemies and enemy backing off from its war mongering is no failure. You can enlist 800000000 soldiers every year but death of 800 soldiers even without fighting a war is a big success for us.

As for infiltration, India despite losing 800 soldiers whines even today about it. So it was a success for Pakistan. Infiltration as per Indian allegations is still on while 800 soldiers died for nothing. :)

Here Pakistanis are happy that Indian journo got a slap, forgetting that he raised Baluchistan in international fora....what better place than white house to raise Baluchistan? I am sure, if this a slap, Indian journos will be more than willing to take such 'slaps' especially if the journo is from Times Now or News18 or Zee after all Baluchistan issue has a following among Indians and will improve their TRPs.

Hundreds of soldier's died on the Pakistani side during demobilization too without a war.
Only thing is ISPR did not reveal the figures.

Also back in 99-02 there used be 2000 infiltration evety year now in the past few years it has come down to a mere ~100.

Hundreds of deaths on Pakistan side are your assumptions and have no proof whatsoever. For now we know that India lost 800 soldiers fore nothing and then backed off after getting nothing.

Massive and a clear success for Pakistan.

The most epic moment was the smile on the official face when that troll Indian journalist took the name of Baluchistan.

Spokesperson was like : Dude WTF you are asking ?o_O

Your nukes saved you. That was huge miscalculation from the Indian government of the day. India government of that day did not know how to deal with Pak nukes.
