I'm glad, choosing to work in China was a Very good decision I've made!!
I may go back to India soon, the life style is improving and we can take home decent salary too.
I'll be moving to China soon - how does one go about their lives out there if they don't speak or understand Chinese?

Brazil is nice but cannot compare to Chinese setup specialy in eastern belt and it's much more safer than any Latin American city.not sure about china. i've been to canton it wasn't that bad. thailand is heaven, if u know what i mean. and in that sense brazil is paradizzzze.
I really got no clue about the quality of life in a Thailand or Brazil but life in Shanghai or Beijing sucks until and unless you are rich. Everything is polluted.@cloud_9 you have no idea what are you talkinga bout. If you live in A or B cities life is very good. It's safer than you can imigine, friendly people and very good work ethics.

Beijing is definitely bad, Shanghai is tad bit better in term of air polution but its better than any Indian cities. Check Air Polution Index you'll know.I really got no clue about the quality of life in a Thailand or Brazil but life in Shanghai or Beijing sucks until and unless you are rich. People suck up to you in every pat of world, it's human nature. I found work environment much better than comparable Indian Industry.People try to suck up to you when they need something.I haven't found any difference between a Chinese workplace or an Indian one.
During my stay in Shanghai I was never cheated by any Taxi driver. Its' news to me.Taxi drivers try to rip you off and the shopkeeper's raise their price suddenly when they sense you are not from around.Pretty similar to what people have to go through when they move to India.
