Do you know why these courts aren't banned yet? Is it a failure of central government to establish rule of law over the whole country or do they deliberately allow the presence of these courts?Retarded. Oh you love a guy well we might as well rape you. Makes me mad. I can almost certainly guess what even happened there. The head had an eye on the girl and seeing her with some one else he was like hmmm. What better way to get her then raping her as a punishment for loving some one.
All in all I just want to say Panchayats/Kangaroo courts worked in 1800/1900 India as people were not educated/no courts/no police but now when India is richer we have established justice system. Panchayatas need to be abolished and declared illegal.

This is not the first incident I've heard that involves these retarded courts.
Meanwhile, the Women of the village vehemently deny that the girl was ever raped, let alone by 13 men. Rape seems to have been institutionalized by the willful compliance of the Females there.
Women are often the gatekeepers of power in Patriarchal societies.

Much like how the slave overseers in the American South where usually Black and they got extra privileges for that role.

Will the people of our Nation take to the streets against such Khaps too, like they did in the Nirbhaya case? Or are such Khaps too 'traditional' to be abolished?
Nope. Political parrties rely on their organisational skills to get votes.
