Bangladeshi software firm Asian Information Technology Ltd has presented and launched its enterprise app in new service called ‘Gari Technology’ at the Turkey Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week Conference in Istanbul.
The presentation and launch took place in the ICC-Istanbul Congress Center on Dec 9.
Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was present at the event organised by the country’s Ministry of Economy, the company said in a media release.
A global audience of 200 invited speakers from 31 foreign countries and more than 200 institutions and over 60,000 visitors took part in the weeklong conference.
According to the release, ‘Gari Technology’ has extended the service for fleet management companies to offer services to corporations powered by ‘BDcabs’, an application which was launched by AITL in 2015 as the first vehicle booking platform for passengers in Bangladesh in partnership with Toma Taxi.
SM Hafizur Rahman, CTO of BDcabs, presented the product in front of over 500 global audience, which included industrialists, academics, technology leaders, entrepreneurs, angel investors, NGOs and experts, the release said.
The service is now provided for corporations and made available for a limited number of Bangladeshi businesses from www.gari.com.bd.
