In Bangladesh Walton is the largest mobile manufacturer. They have am impressive operation and make cellphone flex circuits from scratch and many other parts. They may also have invested in making LED screens fro cellphones but I am not certain.
Walton had done impressive job in manufacturing, product development, marketing and for industrialization. I myself consumer of Walton products and more or less satisfied. BUT Walton is one single company and how many more Walton like company sprung up in "Bangladesh"? Answer is none. Are there companies with money (or ill gotten wealth) to create more Walton like companies? Sure, there are. Walton alone can not take "Bangladesh" industry and export to next level ("Bangladesh" still more or less at same place for last 6-7 years). Over using Walton in publicity and arguments are way overblown. Real question you need to ask why there was and is not more Walton like companies?????
