Bangladesh Reacts to Amit Shah’s ‘Termite’ Comment, Says he is Not Qualified to Talk on Delhi-Dhaka

Bangladesh is very gutless with both its actions and words!!

.
Bangladesh Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu spoke to Indian media outlets and said Shah was not qualified to speak on the bilateral ties between India and Bangladesh. He said Shah’s comments could not be seen as the official stand of the Government of India.

Pathetic to see this mukti Bahni man speaking on behalf of India in this day and age. Let Indian government explain their stance on this issue attributed to a senior BJP leader.
so true :Dthe way he is defending Indian govt it seems he is info minister of india and not bangladesh:lol::lol:

.
East Pakistan fought with West Pakistan because they said we were imposing URDU on them and they got their Independence. Now all of Bangladesh can speak and understand HINDI.

So why is Bangladesh bothered by such a small statement from their true masters?
Stop posting fu.cking provocative comments you American slave . Bangladesh is no one's slave, so Bangladesh has no master . We are our own master. Go and clean your own house and lick boot of your new master china . Don't poke your noes you fool.

. .
In Pakistan, the illegal Bangladeshis are not even compared to Ui

Judging from the thin-skinned reaction here, it seems Pakistanis got more bothered than Bangladeshis. :-)

Can Bangladeshis just forget how to speak Urdu/Hindi please.

We have one up over you folks. We can speak everything. But Indians or Pakistanis rarely know how to speak Bangla (except for bongs in WB).

Why don't you Pakistanis and Northern Indians learn Bangla (a much richer and superior means of expression in any case) - then we Bangladeshis will give up speaking Hindi and Urdu. I will volunteer personally with any younger unattached Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi-speaking educated woman in exchange for some Kaju Barfi and Falooda.

This sacrifice will pave the way to better relations than even SAARC could accomplish.;)

BJP feeds 3rd rate BS to their ignorant, insecure, impoverished right wing supporters - let them believe whatever helps them sleep at night.

My words exactly! People attach too much importance to these BJP nincompoops. Their voter-base is devoid of thinking people.

.
he is 2nd in command he is right hand of modi how he is not fit.
Khan sahab, just wait and see another five to ten years. You guys ( from any country of the world) will see a complete new Bangladesh who is challenging India against every odd treatment . We are just preparing ourselves.

This is not enough. Indian politician whoever comment like this should be declared persona non grata in Bangladesh. Even if it Narendra Modi.
You have spoken my words man. 100% agree.

You completely missed my point.

We didn't have a "mother language riots"
We didn't go around rioting and saying "we don't want to learn x language"

you people did.

Then after your riots... you went off and learned that language any ways:rolleyes:

It's just a humble request to honor your ancestors who went on riot and some who died for your language, that you stop learning Urdu/Hindu.

I think u r the one who missed the the point. Learning something on ur own and getting forced to to learn something r entirely two different things.

Urdu wasn't the language of majority of ppl back then. It was a minor language which was shoved down the throat of Bengalis.

Today if I wanna learn English, Chinese, Hindi or Urdu it's totally upto me. Nobody is forcing me to do that. But if today BD government declares English as official language and forces its ppl to learn it, u'll see similar types of protest against it.

Again... 90% of Bengali I have meet ( and I have meet a lot of them) can speak Urdu.....
It just seems hypocritical to me.

How old were they? Older generations are likely to know and understand Urdu. Though it could also be Hindi from Bollywood loving fan wanks.

Dude....

Majority population of the old Pakistan were Bengalis and the most common spoken language was Bengali.
The state should have been ruled and dominated by Bengalis. Anything else would lead to disintegration.

Many of all generation may not read urdu in nastaliq script ( although they can read quran in nastaliq) but I believe most of Bangladeshi can read urdu in English wording, and speak in urdu and also understand it ( if bollywood language is heavily influenced by Urdu, not talking about some English medium chicken of farm who even can't speak in Bengali correctly )
Who is in Bangladesh see o not understand hindi film songs? Everyone understand them.
I myself can speak in bollywood hindustani ( not pure accent I admit) I learned all from hindi movie I used to see 7/8 years ago ( can't remember when stoppee watching hindi movie), so it's no big deal.
And hindustani language of hindi film is farm from heavily sanksrit influence of real hindi so it's easier to understand, and also bollywood hindi is heavily influenced by Urdu I think ( what about the common and spoken hindi of hindi speaker? Don't have clear idea) , and I don't think that so called hindi speakers (majority) feel comfortable of sanksrit words.
So spoken hindi maybe the real language ? If it is then it's heavily influenced by Urdu.
And I do not think Indians have allergy against urdu as urdu is basically a language of India.
Only some Bangladeshis have such conflict with urdu , I am amazed why!
Maybe we can't speak in pure urdu, but Urdu isn't hard for us I believe, specially not harder than pure hindi that is full of sanksrit words.
Our sadhu vasha is also influenced with sanksrit, how many peoples can speak or even read the sadhu vasha easily? very few.
Once the daily ittefaq used to write in sadhu vasha ( an old form of Bengali language used in literature ; but it's almost dead now in BD), they also gave up .
On the other hand urdu is a very poetic language, urdu songs are nice ( talking about hindi movie songs actually), so I have no idea why some peoples are still bickering about language that was solved 66 years ago.

What happened in 1971 , happened for good. If they are not ready to accept Bengali dominance, then that's fine, there was a war, we got independence so case closed.
If there was no war both side of Pakistan would be seating on table and we could be separated peacefully.
That would be good for both side. I am surprised that still both side ( here in this forum) are continuously blaming each other, that's ridiculous lol.
Peoples do not get tired!

Majority by what? 90% or 55% ? that makes a difference.

Also, pretty selfish of you to demand that other people learn your ethnic language, while no other ethnicity is asking you to learn theirs.

Most of them were young people I met as mosques around the world.

So Candians must learn minority languages?

Only way that Pakistan would have stayed intact
is BD domination.
