Nope.. never.. we feel that since a long time ago.. that's why we put an air base with long range rader and air defence system and navy base and other forces near BD border... and we held combined exercises ,as well, at that area since long time ago.. we have been sent some scholars to BD and they will do know what bd is.. now we have been prepared very well for a threat from bd..and also watching ur steps.. :D BD is now about to start to be a threat to Myanmar.. while we had been played war games there many years ago.. Good luck..!! LOL

The awful state of Bangladesh doesn't give much confidence about the quality of its gene pool.

You are silent about your "entire life in India" though.

Dude why are you so interested in his physical whereabouts? Interested to meet him?

As far as I can tell - he won't respond to your 'tum kahaan' gay overtures...

And awful or not - there's a saying in Bangladesh,

'Shokuner dowa-tey Goru morena.' ask around to find out what this means...

We are shifting the entire Refugee community to a distant place and will cost huge money. Already enough military asset is install in and around cox's bazar. Dont think that we are joking. Period.

Placing a forward base in that location has been long overdue. Their unprofessional armed forces nincompoops need to be taught a quick and decisive lesson.

Myanmar Finds 200 Bangladeshis, Not Rohingya, in Boat Offshore - The Jakarta Globe

Myanmar to deport Bangladeshis after first rescue of migrant boats | SBS News
=====================================================================
Amid international pressure the Myanmar Navy has resuced the first boat bringing 208 smuggling people, all of them Bangladeshi men. According to the initial investigation, the owner of the smuggling boat is a Thai citizen and the migrants were from Cox's Bazar, Chittagong and northern Dhaka in Bangladesh. Myanmar government gave them necessary humantarian aid and temporary shelters in its soil. Is this just the tip of the iceburg?

Far from the waters of Southeast Asia, the Council of the European Union agreed on Monday to create a naval operation, EUNAVFOR Med, to identify, capture, and destroy boats used by smugglers in the Mediterranean. However, EU military action against human smuggling networks should not put the lives and rights of migrants and asylum seekers in jeopardy, Human Rights Watch said on Thursday.

While EU’s “Destroying suspected smugglers’ boats fades from the media radar, the issue of boat people in Andaman Sea is now squarely in the world’s media spotlight. The Boat People in the Mediterranean and the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea are not new issues, but in fact have been deep historical roots.

Both of Myanmar President Thein Sein and Myanmar military chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said during a meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday that most boat people are expected to assume themselves to be Rohingya from Myanmar in the hope of receiving assistance from UNHCR. The two leaders insisted the boat people were not from Myanmar and they won’t accept the blame game foisted on them by the international community. They stressed the need to investigate the migrats’ country of origin rather than to accuse a country.

At the same time, Myanmar Vice President Nyan Tun said that extensive international media coverage about boat people and illegal migrants in the Andaman Sea and Strait of Malacca had caused concern among the global community although Myanmar has sought to prevent of illegal migration and human smuggling. Allegations that the boat people had left Myanmar are completely wrong, he said, stating admantly that most of them are not from Myanmar, although a few among them may be. The repatriation of 102 Myanmar migrants workers detained in Lankawi, Malaysia, by the Myanmar Navy, and that of about 500 Myanmar fishermen in Indonesia, proved Myanmar is ready to provide care and protection to ginuine citizens regardless of race and religion.

The phenomenon of boat people in this region goes back decades, but now illegal smugllers are using “Rohingya Refugee’ as an excuse to cover their transnation organized crimes. In the name of such refugee, the gravest violation of human rights are committed by corrupt officials who are involved in human trafficking activities and colluded with the trafficking syndicates.

The Myanmar government released a five-points statement about boat people on Tuesday, stating that (1) Myanmar shares concern expressed by the international community, (2) Myanmar deeply concerns with the sufferings and lethal fate of innocent people as a consequences of human smuggling and illegal migration, (3) the Myanmar Navy and Air Force would patrol to deter any illegal trespassing in the territory but would safely manage the trespassers, (4) preventive measures on human smuggling and illegal migration are being implemented through out the country and measures are also in place to maintain rule of law and security for all individuals in Rakhine State, and (5) Myanmar is fully prepared to work together with the international community, on humanitarian ground, to alleviate the sufferings of the smuggled victims.

It’s very clear that Myanmar is not the source of problems relating to boat people in the Andaman Sea, but rarher a partner of solutions. The international community must understand that pressuring and blaming Myanmar is not the way to save lives at sea.

The blame game and the wrong approach will not deliver the good results. The boat people crisis based on human smuggling and illegal migration is a regional problem and it will be difficult to solve the problems without regional cooperation.

The EU has found the best approach to solve their boat people problems, so what should be the solution for the countries bodering the Andaman Sea? The regional meeting in Thailand on irregular migrants set for Friday will be the forum to discuss solutions.

Three recommendations
on solutions should prove useful as we move forward.

First, regional countries need to cooperate to eliminate all human smugglers, their supports, their work and their secret networks, and they need to establish an official channel to regulate the flow of labour in the region. An important factor being neglected by many reports is the demand in receiving states. People arriving without proper documentation have been exploited by indusrties seeking for unregulated, cheap labours. Stories surface sometimes about workers living in slave-like condition with little or no payment. Myanmar and Thailand have already accelerated cooperation in cracking down on these labour forces.

Second, we have to promote not only bilateral cooperation but also the security and military cooperation, especially between navies and air Forces as well as between civil transport organizations among the countries of the Adamana Sea. We won’t replicate the EU’s boat destroying mission, but instead will use joint operations to tackle the smugglers and their supporters.

Finally, we need to expand the Bali Process to root out the secret smugglers’ gangs across the region. At the same time we need to open the doors for the media and civil society for all countries across the Bay of Bangal. We should promote the rule of law to combat human smuggling and illegal migration, not only at the regional level but also locally.

In the long term, the Andaman Sea countries and international community have to work together to move forward on the road of sustainable development, including poverty alleviation, education, socio-economic promotion and the creation of work opportunities, etc. The countries in the regional now face the challenges of the boat people crisis, so they must extend their hands to thoe sufferings of the smuggled victims by opening a new chapter of regional cooperation.
The blame game is not the answer, and instead we must find opportunities to reach win-win solutions.

Burmese dont straighten up without a beating. Look at Thailand, they bombed with F-16 after that they never dared to do any misadventure in Thai border, even when Thai security forces regularly intrude into Burma. Same at China and Indian border. They only returned our BGB man's body once we started bombing them. They only removed the rig in BOB when we sent warship with missiles.

Bangladesh is the only country which is soft towards Burmese.

It amazes me how a whole country lives on lies and deception. It lies to its own population as well as the outside world. Funny thing is eveybody knows about their deception.
First load the boat for 2 months with the help of these generals. Then when got caught, offlloaded the Rohingya and declared the rest as Bangladeshi. Another 720 rescued of the coast of southern Burma, declared them as Bengali and taken to Rakhaine without letting them to talk to anybody. This joker said that they will deported to Bangladesh without even letting Bangladesh that they have Bangladeshi.

No Rohingyas In Arakan History: International Experts!

Yakhine history conference in Mahidol univesity, Bangkok.
There is no Rohingya ethnic in Myanmar and the term Rohingya exactly means Bengali as Myanmar named it, international experts on Rakhine history said in a seminar held in Thailand’s Mahidol University on March 9.
The seminar was held with three objectives to introduction of Rakhine history to the international community; to dismiss the name Rohingya used by international media and to complete reliable references of Rakhine history briefed by international historians, chairman Kyaw Thaung of the organizing committee said.

Dr Jacques P Leider, research scholar and historian of EFEO (French Institute of Asian Studies), Professor Stephen van Galen of Leiden University and History Professor Aye Chan of Kanda University of International Studies gave explanation on Arakan history.

Dr Jacques P Leider explained about the existence of Arakan kingdom, Bodaw Phaya’s occupation to Arakan and political, religious and economic situations.

Dr. Jacques Leider giving presentation on Rakhine history.

There had been changes in political, economic and social sectors during Myanmar that ruled Arakan from 1785 to 1825. Rakhine high-class persons were punished by sending them in exile from 1785 to 1795. Administration was jointly controlled by Myanmar and Rakhine. Increased tax was collected and forced labour was seen from 1795 to 1810. Provisions were provided for Myanmar king’s battles.
Myanmar settled in Rakhine. Rakhine were in rebellion against the rule of Myanmar’s king from 1787 to 1815 and Rakhine people headed to the south part of Bengala for settlement. Rakhine people's economic situation started to change from 1815 to 1825. Myanmar’s king did not face any threat during that period.
Similarly Professor Stephen van Galen briefed on relations between Rakhine region and Bengala from 15th century to 18th century.

Dr Stephen van Galen briefed on the apex of the Rakhine kingdom in 1635, the increasing role of trade revenues when the Rakhine kings were powerful and Dutch's trade activities in Rakhine and Bengal.

Dr. Stephen van Galen from the Leiden University.

After 1638, Rakhine's control over the southeastern Bengal waned due to a shortfall in tax revenue. And Rakhine's economy stagnated after Chittagong was lost in 1666, he added. He also cited another reason for the impact on Rakhine's economy as withdrawal of Dutch businessmen.

In his talks about 'From Rakhine cross-border settlement to ethnic violence', Dr Aye Chan explained the increased cross-border settlement from 1826 to 1975, more movements of Chittagong people, who become the majority in Maungdaw and Buthedaung townships.

He said Bengali Muslim population increased from 58,255 in 1871 to 178,647 in 1911. The Bengalis had become the great majority groups in Maungdaw and Buthedaung townships representing 94% and 84% respectively of the total populations there.

He also explained mujahidin rebels' destruction of Rakhine villages and the mujahidin party's demands.
"What I can say exactly is that those who call themselves Rohingyas are really Bengalis. This can be seen in the records of the colonial era. Rakhine State has no Rohingyas," the history professor said.
He then replied to the questions about the Rakhine history raised by those present.

Dr. Jacques P. Leider from EFEO.

Asked about the annexation of Rakhine State in the Bagan period, Dr Jet Pilder replied that there was no evidence for that.
"I never come across the term "Rohingya". But Muslims settlers arrived in Mrauk-U around 17th century. They did not name themselves as Rohingyas then. Other cultures also reached Mrauk-U in the century. The first Dutchman arrived in Mrauk-U in 1608. There were many Dutch offspring with Arakan mothers in 1640. Mrauk-U can be said as a colorful town," Professor Dr Stephen van Galen from Leiden University responded to a question about the term.
"There was never a Muslim king reigned in Rakhine State according to my study paper about the 17th Century," he also answered a question.

"I also talked about it before. A man named Mr. Abdul Gaffa from Buthedaung, Rakhine State created it in 1951. Actually he made it up from the name "Roshang" or "Rohan". It's a Bengali word meaning Rakhine people," Professor Dr. Aye Chan of Japan's Kanda University of International Studies responds to a question about when and how the term became in use.

When a Bengali activist Htay Lwin Oo asked about Rohingya and the Rakhine State, Dr. Aye Chan said the term "Rohan" does not mean illegal immigrants.

RNDP Chairman Dr. Aye Maung.

"The seminar shows clearly that there is no Rohingya in fact. Dr. Aye Chan also explained everything about "No Rohingya in Myanmar". Moreover the Rakhine conflicts will be worked out only when the government tackles it. I am unhappy to hear about the clash. I wish it ends as quickly as possible," said Ashin Tayza who is a first-year student for Buddhism Studies at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
History professors, diplomats, reporters and invitees from news agencies attended the seminar which also attracted more than 150 Rakhine Buddhist monks and students studying in Thailand.

Besides, Aye Tha Aung and Dr. Aye Maung, chairmen from Arakan League for Democracy and Rakhine Nationalities Development Party also were present at the seminar.

You should had settled the issue with the british. All inhabitant within the border of then Burmese territory, indian territory and Pakistani territory became the citizen of that respective country. Later some did migrate and rest remained. That is how things were laid. If you change the rule of the game later on then its your problem. You need to deal with Rohingya yourself and we are not part of it. If you did said it in 1948 then, Pakistan or India would had demanded the frontier township to Pakistan or India. Even later accord with Pakistna (Ayub Khan) and Bangladesh did talk about the settlement of Rohingyas inside Burma. You cant live up to your own word. What can we do? Kick your *** probably the last option i suppose.

Yeah..!! if that's our problem.. why u bullshitting here..? asshole...!! we can grant them citizenship in the name of Bangali.. but not Rohingya... then we have immrgrantion law called 1982 Act.. everyone who fit this law will be awarded the citizenship.. the rest will be camped with the help of UNHCR and send to any Third Nations who want them... That's all we have to do... :D

 If you even try, India will fire the first missile on you. Than there is nowhere to hide. Now I dont want another surrender ceremony in Dhaka.

Bangladeshis must vacate Chittagong hill areas and give to Rohingyas. That is the only solution.
