Bangladesh condemns Thursday’s attack on Indian troops

.
you would expect that to be common sense. I guess common sense does not apply to this forum.
Not surprising at all. U know, a certain group of people r rejoicing and jumping up and down due to the fact that terrorist organization taliban is coming back to the power in AFG. :enjoy:

And btw, many Indian members condemned the Mustang terror attack. And although they criticize us for blaming them right away for Pulwama, they started accusing RAW of orchestrating Mustang before the bodies even grew cold. There is definitely a double standard here. @waz @Joe Shearer @Nilgiri

So - I am reading the comments here and it seems people are not clear on the definition of what a terrorist or terrorism itself is...

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter or martyr...

Like I have said sometime ago, terrorism (according to the terrorist) is simply a tool to achieve some noble objective, in this case the attempt to make Kashmir a part of Pakistan, by certain quarters.

If the objective is important enough to merit the bad reputation which is an instant fallout of these terrorist acts, and you succeed to achieve your objectives via terrorism, then it is seen as good for the terrorists (and their sponsors) by themselves.

The problem is - regardless of which side of the fence you are on, it justifies the use of homicidal violence such as bombing or suicide bombing to achieve an objective, and slowly devolves to killing innocent civilians indiscriminately, destabilizing and stymieing the efforts of societies these civilians live in as they try to better their human condition.

The only losers and gainers - in terms of Kashmir, are the successive govts. in India and Pakistan and their 'dirty' objectives. Ask a Kashmiri what they want, and they will tell you that they need to have not only (simply) self determination, but also a higher standard of living and stability above everything else. It is no different for Kashmiris other than other folks.

No one is crazy enough to live in a place where there is no stability. The instability is being foisted on Kashmiris in the form of terrorism.

I'd like to have an independent Kashmir too but not by way of Terrorism.

We can negotiate, we can keep talking, but foisting terrorism on a helpless innocent civilian populace achieves nothing other than targeted weakening of societies by outsiders (some would say drone bombing of civilians as collateral is also terrorism).

Hasina’s illegal government doesn’t represent Bd people. She is a dancing doll of India.

Bd Muslims with their Kashmiri brethren. There should be no doubt about it.

@UKBengali comment was surprisingly pleasant whearas @Bilal9 comment is very disappointing and hurtful. Not expected from a Muslim.

I don't know what is truth tbh.
@American Pakistani,
Truth is something that you (most of pdf Pakistanis) are not ready to accept. The truth is most of Bangladeshi have no negative issue with Pakistan and they like Pakistanis as muslim brothers.
Also their govt behavior and statements against Pakistan make people like me believe that entire Bangladesh is against Pakistan
It's purely political rhetoric and that is totally unrelated to Pakistan , but I can bet, you will not believe it too, so whats the point if I or anyone explain it again? And besides jamatis here will not let you even think of it, because of political reason , so any explanation from non jamati Bangladeshi members will not affect you , so no reason to waste time on this issue.

Time is the best decision maker and once you will realise what is true or what is false , just wait for future.( But I hope already Pakistan govt started to realise that who is real friend and who is actually foe; my good wish for Mr Imran Khan for this. )

And now Kashmir issue ,almost every muslim Bangladeshi support Kashmiri brothers, this is an absolute truth, but as I said it's not possible to explain ( anything, any topic ) to every individuals, so I think you should follow what your heart says about Bangladeshis.

Just remember one very important thing ( when make judgement) and that is appearance can be very deceiving most of times .Thank you.

It is interesting that UKbengali is far more supportive of SHW govt (overall) compared to Billu though.

BD sure is funny stuff. Lot of sensitive spots for easy control and steering.
