A 122-member contingent of the army, navy, and air force left for Delhi from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday via an Indian Air Force C-17 plane, according to a press release issued by the ISPR.
It is a good opportunity for India to exhibit its Delhi market for BD people through this 122-member contingent of BD military men. I expect their spouses to fly to Delhi by civilian flights where their husbands will accompany them to the Department Stores for shopping.

By the way, are the normal flights open or remain closed due to Corona-19?

BD contingent to carry legacy of “Muktijoddhas” to India’s Republic Day Parade

NEW DELHI, Jan 25, 2021 (BSS) – The 122-member of Bangladesh’s tri-service contingent will carry the legacy of “Muktijoddhas” (freedom fighters) of Bangladesh to the India’s 72nd Republic Day Parade tomorrow.

“The Bangladesh contingent will carry the legacy of legendary “Muktijoddhas” of Bangladesh, who fought against oppression and mass atrocities and liberated Bangladesh in 1971,” an Indian defence ministry statement said on the eve-of the 72ndIndia’s Republic Day Parade here this evening.

The contingent of the Bangladesh armed forces comprising of army, navy and air forcepersonnel will lead the contingent march on the Rajpath in New Delhi.

However, India sees the Bangladesh tri-service contingent’s participation to the parade, first of its kind in the history,as a “testimony to India-Bangladesh ties, which forged into shared sacrifice”.

“Bangladesh’s armed forces participation to the Republic Day parade with the invitation of Indian government is a testimony to our ties, which forged into shared sacrifice,” said Spokesperson of India’s External Affairs Ministry Anurag Srivastava here recently.

India observes its Republic Day on January 26 every year as on this day in 1950, the Constitution of India came into force after the country gained independence from British rule for over 200 years.

India’s military might, cultural diversity, social and economic progress will be on display during the 72nd Republic Day celebrations at the Rajpath in New Delhi from tomorrow morning. The day is public holiday.

The grand event will culminate with Rafale aircraft flying at a speed of 900 kilometre per hour carrying out a ‘Vertical Charlie’, the statement said.

School children will perform folk arts and crafts displaying skills and dexterity handed down from generations as the Republic Day Parade ceremony will commence with Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting the National War Memorial.

PM Modi will lead the nation in paying solemn tributes to the fallen heroes by laying a wreath. Thereafter, the prime minister and other dignitaries will head to the saluting dais at Rajpath to witness the parade.

As per tradition, India’s national flag will be unfurled followed by the National Anthem with a booming 21-gun salute. The parade will commence with President Ram Nath Kovind taking the salute.

With Bangladesh in focus, vintage Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft “Dakota” will participate in a fly past during the Indian Republic Day parade. The “Dakota” aircraft will be part of the Rudra Formation along with two Mi-17 IV helicopters.

The “Dakota” aircraft played a crucial role during Bangladesh’s War of Liberation in 1971 as it was used to airdrop troops. The ceremony will culminate with the national anthem and the release of tri-colour balloons, the statement added.

Will carry the legacy of cksucking

Great Avatar name. Love that movie...Winston, "You have no idea what's coming." Aurelio, "Because, he stole John Wick's car (wasn't Kit, Kit was Michael's car), sir and killed his God." Wonder how many people John Wick is going to kill? Wonder if Covid is John's doing? If so we are over 2 million already.

I have no words, Indians (Sanghis) putting words into our own mouths, as if we said it.

Spineless as they are, Sheikh Hasina's govt. lets Sanghis do our talking and has nothing to refute it....

Shameless Sanghis, Shameless Hasina....
Any pictures ?

This is during practice a few days ago.

One contingent of a neighbouring country participates in a March past and look at the spin given by spin doctors. From slavery to Hindutva to what not.

It appears that it’s nothing else but a worry that these small gestures might lead to better relations between two neighbours.

India and Bangladesh relations have seen few ups and downs in the past. Current dispensation in both the countries has been working on to improve the relations. I hope that both the governments don’t get carried away by hate mongers who always give a spin of Hindutva and evil designs to anything Indian. By that logics all nations with different religions should be at war and those with same religion should be the best buddies. Strange logic it is.

India and Bangladesh are neighbours and good relations between them are for betterment of both the nations.

Next time it could be Indian contingent participating in a parade in Bangladesh. Waiting to see what spin is given by spin doctors to that event.
