How does it matter to you if they remain in BD or not ? It's their rightful property earned through their hard work and they have the full right to do anything they want to do with that.

1) You guys have been blinded by the AL cheap political stunts. This new AL gesture is a Zero-sum game. The GoB has now opened new opportunity to legitimize its cronies' hold on the vested properties. The lands are already in their control. Who else could have grabbed these lands after 1971 other than the ALs? Was it Jamaatis? it is unthinkable.

2) AL knows the Hindus will not come back. So, their cronies will now submit fake sales' documents to register the lands in their names. Until now, the lands were under their control, but the Vested Property Laws did not allow them to register these in their names. Now, the new law allows the original Hindu owners to claim and then also sell. So, this bypass law will enable the grabbers to legitimize their holds.

3) AL is as or more shrewed than Indians. They are killing two birds with one stone. This law will appease the Hindus without really getting anything. Another is to legitimize the holding of these lands by their cronies.
