BAF bought YAK-130 because they thought they would buy SU-30 from Russia. Because of Ukraine war, right now the only viable option for BAF is Chinese J-10C.

BAF officials are in UK currently.... hopefully finalising the EFT deal.

BAF high will be EFT...... low J-10 or potentially F16.

The current thinking is completely western airforce, but not sure where the money will come from.

Muddled thinking continues on part of BAF..... missing strategic vision and leadership.

Turkish jet for BAF is total nonsense.... it wont be ready for foreign sale before 2045 at the earliest. Korean/indonesian jet wont be available for foreign sale also before 2040 at the earliest. These productions are for internal consumption and they wont ramp up for export that quickly, if ever. Additionally they are both dependent of foreign engine and parts. BAF also wont buy anything that has no history. These two are silly pipe dreams... it aint happening anytime soon.

I don't think BAF will buy Eurofighter because of its high price. The most realistic option for BAF is Chinese J-10C. China has been BAF's reliable source for hightech weapons for many many years. So, the chances for J-10C are quite high.

Chinese J10 will be the low in High/low mix for BAF. J10 can not go up against indian raffles..... only the EFT can do that.

1 Sqd of eft good enough to keep 3 sqd of raffles at bay in a defensive scenario backed up by ground defense.

But BAF talking to UK about EFT has been going on for nearly 3 years after UK offered it.

Look through here or many published newspaper reports.

Doubt any deal will happen before election or even after election with the current economic crisis. They could be there for the last C-130J perhaps? We were supposed to received that long ago.

My sources are saying 8 +4.... BAF i think has 12 in a sqd.

Currently the thinking if you would believe is 12 EFT and 18 F16s second hand from one of the arab countries........ absolutely clueless thinking....

The numbers wont allow any numerical depth, but the reasoning is it would allow savings in terms of ammo.

BAF does not seem to have any plans for defense of the country..... its just a numbers game and ticks in the box.

The price for the eurofighter is prohibitively high. Probably that's why they have reduced the number from 16 to 12.
