Bangabandhu’s self-confessed killer Abdul Majed arrested

This self confessed killer of our father of nation must be executed as soon as possible. This should be the justice.

@Slav Defence, is defaming the father of nation of Bangladesh, justifying his murder as necessary act going to be helpful for the relationship between Bangladesh and Pakistan? Or at least is it going to give us a forum atmosphere for fruitful discussion that all of us desire?

I will leave this matter to you.

Thanks and regards.

Stop crying, my language is decent and this is freedom of speech. Freedom fighter of one can be a terrorist for other. Plus if u care about relations then common ppl comment dont matter, tell ur PM not to crap against Pakistan in UNGA address, that worsens relations.

I could easily countered you harshly. But I refrained myself from doing so for obvious reason. Do you know why? Because I myself have experienced the nature of the freedom of speech here . Here you will get much more benefit than me, I have experienced it before. So let's not talk about it.

I would only say you are just justifying the anti Pakistan rhetoric ( that is already in heavy decline) of our Prime Minister. Hate monger like you should first look at a mirror, see yourselves and then blame Sheikh Hasina.

Why should there be any peace where you justify the murder of her father in a decent language (?!), in an international forum and remain untouched ( your hateful post ( #7 that I quoted) is still there I see) ?

Remember, Mujib is not like your zulfiqar Ali bhutto who is a mere politician for you. Mujib is the founding father of Bangladesh. He is like Jinnah of Bangladesh, keep it in mind.

Why cant u digest the fact that he is ur father of nation and not others, he can be an evil vilain to others, why cant u accept and realize this? And why would u counter with harsh language when am using decent language? Jinnah is a hero to us but a vilain to indians. Same goes for others, so why cant u just accept the difference of opinion? I can understand bangladeshis lack of understanding of freedom of speech as being ruled by a dictator have changed ur mindset. Also dont try to paint this forum as biased, this is one of the most neutral and rules based forum ive ever seen. I have been warned for talking harshly with israelis and indians. I have seen other country forums and the way they discriminate with foreigners.

Yes that's the reason India and Pakistan is enemy forever and will remain enemy forever ( if nothing miracle happen in future) . On the other hand George Washington is not considered a vilain in United Kingdom.

Yes so? Whats ur point? We have a history, its not hidden. He is ur father of nation but to us he is a backstabber who got in bed with the enemy to damage own brothers. Isnt all this open knowledge? Disnt he take help of india? Didn't he start all this hatred and divided the country??
After all that, we moved on and never created problems for Bangladesh, but Bangladesh seems to be fixated on Pakistan hate. Till recently u ppl hanged rhose who had soft corner for Pakistan, your govt helps india against Pakistan in every aspect, your govt is vocal against Pakistan always, yet we keep silent and ignore, ur PM, every year, like a clockwork goes to UNGA and blames Pakistan for everything. So before getting emotional on my comments, tell me honestly who is the one who wants the relations damaged? Who is it that keeps hate mongering?

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family were killed at 2 different locations. The Bangladeshi military people knew the links between Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and India so they had to be finished off. You cant have a new nation under the control of traitors and somebody had to pay for this division.
It was the politicians who made the people fight and caused fitna. The same way in Pakistan Bhutto was finished.

What alot of people dont mention is that even though Pakistan was divided and Bangla people made their own nation, the highly trained Bangladeshi military and Intelligence people knew what happened, they knew about the links with India and Raw involvement, they knew about Mukhti Bahni, about the propaganda used, it was unacceptable. A snake is a snake.

Well a lot of excesses were also made by Mujib's cohorts - which Mujib wasn't even aware of. Things such as forming a private elite armed unit (Rakhhi Bahini) outside of the purview of the commissioned armed forces command - which was obedient only to Sheikh Mujib and his sons, DID NOT sit well with the Army (nor the general populace and the bureaucracy, even after politicization of the latter).

The idea in the army to finish off Mujib's family started at the inception of this elite armed unit, formed without consent of the regular armed forces, and under the purview, training and guidance of RAW. If Hasina does not stop some of her excesses, she will face the same fate, although she has tried hard enough to politicize the armed forces herself.

Mujib's sons (Captain Sheikh Kamal, Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal) were made lynchpins and top echelon leaders of the Rakkhi Bahini central command, and combined with the fact that these two sons were involved in robbing banks in broad daylight with no resistance from anyone and picking up and raping army senior officers' wives (being the goondas that they were) - sealed the whole family's fate.

In Sura Al Baqara v.90. وان الله لا يحب المعتدين. "Allah does not like those who transgress".

All questions were answerer several times by other posters and also by myself too. I don't feel it's worth repeating same thing over and again. You can search some threads if you wish from few months ( maybe last 2 months) ,you will find all answers . Thanks you.

He is a father of BAL lover like you.
Okay I am BAL lover ( although I am not but I don't feel I have to be apologetic to stubborn people like you) , so what can you do? Nothing. Now mind your own business and try to read some impartial history in the lockdown time. You will find yourself more biased and irrational than others.

But @Al-zakir, if you like to consider yourself a hero, come to Bangladesh and through out Hasina, what is actually stopping you from doing so?:sarcastic:

There were some brave men in bangladeshi army who had to do what was necessary. They knew the new country was actually in hands of indian puppets. I wonder how haseena managed to evade? Maybe she was not in country.

She was in Germany on vacation at the time, with her sister Sheikh Rehana, these two women are the only ones who survived in that family. Later Sheikh Hasina returned to India to live with Pranab Mukherjee's family, Pranab was even then a highly placed politician in Delhi. That is where Hasina's India-bound emotional debt comes from.

But while she owes emotional debt to India - the rest of us in Bangladesh really don't (in fact it is the opposite). India did what it did to achieve her own two-pronged goal,
1. Break Pakistan in two and reduce resistance from the East to zero
2. Have a compliant market for its goods for three/four decades at almost zero tariff levels (in fact the latter situation is still ongoing - causing local industrialization to suffer).

That 'Faraq' in philosophy (between personal and governmental) by Hasina should have been made but was not made - resulting in the unnecessary groveling political posture we have with India, which Sanghis translate as weakness.

This is the type of philosophy that in a larger sense caused the English to start colonization from the Eastern side - we Bengalis are too nice, refined, hospitable and accommodating. We don't know when a hard stance needs to be taken and we need to put our foot down.
