BAF Buying JF-17?

Also idea of Pakistani and Chinese pilots in Bangladesh is amazing. I am actually happy that you too are happy and want to pay Bangladesh to make this happen!

Why not. You want to know the level of permeation India has achieved in BD military? It would be like acquiring such directly for India to inspect. Please try guess why China does not part with one high end military system to Bangladesh? Its not entirely a question of what BD can afford. There is much they can afford yet China would not even think of selling them.

thats a great gesture!!

I hope the ppl in Delhi echo your words.... I hope you'll not have any problems with a Bangladesh-China military exercise in the Bay of Bengal with Pakistani-made arms being part of it.....

Great, now India can get its hands on PAF's latest jets. Infact, India should give the money to Bangladesh to buy a squadron of JF-17

well if india ask Pakistan to built 1 2 or 3 sqdrn we will do it on your request any time since your own tech is failed and dont worry you dont have to go thru bang we will give you the latest tech :) arent we the best neighbour ?

So you do not consider Chinese submarines or J-10s as potent system?

Indian ingress in Bangladeshi Military may be a reality but if it is, it will not be hidden from China or Pakistan. If they are still agreeing to sell BD their military hardware, they must be satisfied in doing so for some reason. Now think what reason it would be.

We're not stopping you.

China and Pakistan common sense is the big rock that is on you to remove :D (because they have much better idea than BD defence trolls regarding how much BD military is infiltrated and controlled by India )

Please do the standing up and heavy lifting to convince your friends and associates that you can both afford and protect their best tech from their biggest common adversary in even the short term (forget long term).

Time for concrete action, not cheap forum talk!

you couldn't have defined it better..... Indian infiltration in Bangladesh Military is a cheap talk indeed.... so, lets discard this.... rather, lets talk about why India needed to sign LEMOA agreement with the US.... isn't India a "friendly" neighbour?

Nope. Definitely not in the numbers they are being negotiated (regarding J-10). The J-10 is no J-20 or even J-11. Please look at the 2 submarines in more depth as well....there is a reason why they are basically training only.

They do have their place and role, just like the Fantans did in the BAF earlier. But they are not the highest-end that China has on offer....neither will such ever be offered to BD in the current window.

Sure. Its all non-critical items that India has pretty much full awareness of to begin with. Stuff like J-20 or 052C class destroyers on the other hand....I could see Pakistan acquiring those long term.....but a big fat 0 for BD. Basically things that involve massive C4I infrastructure as well....and are not bare bone basic stand alone units in a poorly networked and heavily compromised military.

then I hope India won't have any issues if the two subs are seen outside the Bay of Bengal....
puny little old stuff, you know....

and I'm also sure India won't mind seeing us having joint military exercise involving those subs with neighbouring countries like Sri Lanka or Maldives....

US is a big provider of critical technology/ToT either directly or through Israel (given the lack of C4I within Bangladesh I suspect you have little to no idea about the magnitude of such technology as Green pine and phalcon). So mutual defense infra/logistics treaty makes a lot of sense to expand and operationalise this avenue.

So first acquire something of note (regarding BD) and then we can discuss BD signing even LEMOA-style agreements with the source countries. It certainly will not be with Pakistan or China (neither in their right mind would contemplate it with BD)...only one country is even approaching you on such in very limited fashion (and its creating the usual butthurt).

So like I said, please prove with action....rather than idle words. The evidence of the huge disparity in what you actually get on the ground compared to what you defence bigmouths here want is quite telling.....just like the disparity in what is projected for walton....compared to what it actually realises.

With just a news of purchasing JF-17, you can see how butthurt Indians have become. Surely the most insecure nation in the world!

No CATIC is doing all marketing and Pakistan have no say in it, Article says Chinese CATIC is offering, their delegation will soon be in Dhakka.. nobody from PAC.. but some obsessed idiots in BD cant avoid Pakistan's name somehow.

Pakistan and BD simply dont have relationship in which we can sign military deals, even if happen it will be signed by Chinese not us..

Glad that you think so.. i hope your govt reject it..

no we dont have time for this.
Bruh the Chinese delegation is coming to offer j-10 while the news says Pakistan is asking china to only offer jf-17. Idk how much truth there is to this about Pakistan but I don't think china would offer us a jf-17

With the current BD gov i don't think so it will be possible.

Not possible with any BD govt, given the current govt would always be lurking around the corner and would spring again some point down the line.

Thats why barely anything good got done by BNP (who are supposedly more pro-pakistan, pro china and more anti-india) in defence sector. @Mohammed Khaled can fill you in about it.

Not True at all sir..... never have been the case since Pakistan recognizing Bangladesh as an Independent country..... the relationship between the too countries have seen its highs and lows..... and currently going through a sustained low.... thanks to AL policy!

Pakistan hold no grudges against Bangladesh...... no hatred at all against its citizens..... if you ask a common Pakistani regarding his views about Bangladesh...... you will find no hate in their .... rather you would see them either indifferent towards Bangladesh or positively oriented towards it..... predominantly the reason being followers of the same religion!
Its unfortunate Bangladesh is struck in the Past and isn't willing to move on..... numerous times we have extended our hand of friendship and brotherhood towards Bangladesh..... yet nothing significant can be forged..... mainly because of the domestic politics that the current in-power party likes to play..... Keep the masses and their psychology in the past ..... feed them hatred and collect votes..... It all make sense!
The odd harsh comment that you see from the Pakistani youth on this forum or elsewhere on social media is the direct reaction to loads of hatred thrown towards them by Bangladeshis around..... and you cant blame them for that......other then that there is not an ounce of a reason for Pakistanis to hate Bangladesh....not at all!

Regards
Adios!
I think it's just the politics... I myself and other native original bengalis I got to know personally never had any negative views of Pakistan... at the end I guess it's just politics!

Bangladesh will never sign any LEMOA style agreement with any country, be it China, US or India. Like it or not, you have indeed surrendered part of your sovereignty with this agreement. In Bangladesh, it's impossible.
