Calm down, no one said PTI will fix it in a month. All the things I mentioned were in their manifesto and they have done opposite of that to start of things. PTI shouldn't have made tall claims in that case.

They can't reduce oil, gas, electricity prices. They can't tax the rich and give respite to poor in indirect taxes.

You never said when Nawaz sharif and Shahbaz sharif said about they will drag zardari on street for corruption. What happened to that claim and now nawaz sharif is out of jail you are jumping again. He will again go adiyala after 1-2 month then you will be like you are PRO PTI lol.

It baffles my mind. I mean, patwari gave Nawaz Sharif 30 years with zero result and IK just took oath couple of weeks back and they expect Pakistan to be the first work country already.

Yes, it is ridiculous how people expect IK to turn around a country of 200 million with problems that Nawaz Sharif and Bhuttos could not in the last 30-40 years. Pakistan is in the state it is directly because of the two participants in the game of music chairs for last 40 years - PPP/PML-N. You would even struggle to turn around the affairs of a family in one month.


The reality is and I think we should all be explicit about this - that all politicians promise more then they deliver. This is applicable in the west as much as in Pakistan. Every party in effort to win elections will try to out-offer others and this is even more true as they get closer to elections. However I am certain PM IK will do better then NS or Zardari-Bhuttos would have done. That I think is almost given.

PTI have done nothing what they promised. Indirect taxes made 88% in N league government, this gov have only increased them. Instead of decreasing army budget proportionally, they reduce development budget.

Gas price increased by 146%. Oil is only going go up. Electricity prices increased. PTI promised to curb theft instead of increasing prices for honourable consumers.

And now our PM is with begging bowl going around the world. Another thing PTI promised they will not do. As per estimate by PTI UK origin expert, 5 million homes will need $180 billion lol Good luck even building 1% of promised cheap homes.

PTI allowed people with black money to buy homes and cars in Pakistan while they cry about corruption at the same time.

As long as IK has the Army's backing, everything will be okay.

For me personally if PM IK can get children into education, improve basic healthcare and better policing I think hr will have done good enough. Pakistan's strenght is it's young and if education can be improved it will place Pakistan in position to move forward rapidly. Of course the benefits of giving education to the masses will only become apparent over the following decades. Educating the young is like planting fruit trees. You have to wait decades for the benefit to accrue.

As you know I regularly have spats with Indians and they can throw all the big talk about India but it makes zero impact - however when they mention education then I know I am on losing ground. Pakistan is lagging behind on education and health in South Asia.

Budget was good test to see where they stand on their election claims. Meanwhile you can continue to suck nawaz/zardari balls like a monkey. What happen in Pakistan shouldn't concern you.

What else could they do right now? To broaden the tax net will require FBR reforms and a sustained drive over time that will give incremental returns. There is no flash the magic wand and done thing.

No its a reality check for you. If Pakistan's economy start doing better in 2 years from now than you will see a different subsidized and awaam public budget. As of now, they have not imposed anything alarming which you are protraying. Pmln had 5 full years yet our gdp started to go down in the last 2 yrs of their govt rather than going up. So this is a correction year where nothing much pti can do about it.
