Side-note; this is one of the events the US claims caused Afghanistan to drift into Soviet Influence.

What an excellent way to put the idiots into their place. Pakistan acted like a superpower back then. Sanctions after sanctions.. blockade after blockade... I wish we had another Ayyub Khan today who would shut down the NATO supplies and put the ingrates into their place before Ashraf Ghani comes running barefoot to Islamabad and seek forgiveness. We need to do airstrikes to eliminate the ISIS and RAW sponsored terrorists.

There is much work to be done in Pakistan obviously.

And flush out traitors like Hussain Haqqani.
Extra ordinary circumstances need extra ordinary responses. Like it or not Israel is the best example of such behavior. When it comes to their national interest and security, they go to every length possible. Strike any where in world. Defy the largest number of UN resolutions against them. The world respect them out of fear.

Looks like Afghanistan never make their own decision. Before it was Soviets now the Indians. In their love for Soviets and Indians, they have destroyed themselves.

Only they can do that. They have unconditional support from the US. It doesn't take boldness to do something with no strings attached.

These Afghans will never learn!
If we teach them, they will learn. My logic is simple, if they do not accept Durand line move border closer to Kabul... Do surgical and air strikes and take out all the terrorist hide outs. But we don't have leader with spine unfortunately.
