Austria to shut down mosques, expel foreign-funded imams

The ministers said up to 60 imams belonging to ATIB, a Muslim group close to the Turkish government, could be expelled from the country or have visas denied on grounds of receiving foreign funding.

This is a very stupid decision, ATIB operates under Turkish Diyanet. Whom will replace these 60 imams ? Austria is paving the road for radicalism.

This is such a lie. I have never, ever heard any hateful or violence inspiring preaching from any Imam in Turkey. All of our Imams are regulated strictly by Diyanet. They have to graduate from university and get certified by Diyanet in order to get appointed to a mosque (by diyanet again).

Who will fill in when you expel the Diyanet certified imams ? Did you ever thought about that ?

This is one of the best decisions of an EU government. How many churches do you have in Saudi arabia? The time has come for Europe to expel this totalitarian and evil religion . It is the biggest threat to its judea christian heritage. The freedom and prosperity which Europe has enjoyed in the last 70 years has nothing to do with the backward and evil mohammedan ideology. That's not entirely true. Under the Ottomans foreigners could fund minority religious groups at least on a case-by-case basis. For example, the Ottomans allowed Christian missionaries schools to be built in their territories. These missionary schools even enrolled Muslims as students. The main restriction the Ottomans imposed was that the missionaries' conversion efforts could only target non-Muslims.

You can practice being a muslim from home. And why does one move to a new country? To make their life as miserable ss your own? No. You do it to make your life better and the only way to do that is to accept their culture as your own.
