What's new

Attack on Balochistan Constabulary in Quetta Claimed by TTP.

So you’re suggesting that we do what the Indians do in IOK?

I’m pretty sure that we have a couple thousand armoured vehicles (excluding tanks, but including APCs and IFVs)
APCs and IFVs only kind of do the same job as MRAPs, I wouldn't count them. They're not really good COIN vehicles consider how slow and clunky they can be.

.
This intelligence based war.

1). What Blochistan needs is Heavy surveillance and uncover agents and spies, informants.

2). Identify where money and materials is originating from.

3). Heavy headed covert and overt operations.

4), Tit for tat response inside foreign countries in question. Once their intelligence agencies get the message, this will stop.

Spare $500 million fir 1000 plus MRAPs. US military is trying to get ride of its several thousand MRAPs. Get them on discount.
Absolutely.

Counter insurgency warfare is always intelligence based.

Technically Pakistan isn’t fighting an insurgency nor army is operating in a foreign distance lane.

What Pakistan need is build up of informant network inside those areas. Arrest and prosecution of any facilitator. Foreign forces kill insurgents and move on, and end up creating martyr. On your own land, you have to prosecute people so that other learn lesson.

. . .
Our patriots keep dying while generals are destroying the country by playing politics. Pakistani generals are the worst thing that ever happened to this country.

TTP were given enough time and space to lay down arms and agree on peace after NATO withdrawal.

Do you need anymore proof TTP is a wing of the Taliban to attack Pakistan? Just like Hezbollah is a wing of the Iranian ayatollahs.

We all know where their HQs and bases are in Afghanistan. I think its time to dominate Afghan airspace, a media blackout and drop some heavy bombs on their heads. They can go cry to the news outlets after but there will be plenty of dead TTP and their families. Once they see their mothers and daughters burnt to a crisp after an air raid maybe it will make them think twice about entering Pakistani territory.

I hope Gen. Asim Munir ends up being Raheel Shareef 2.0

The scrouge of terrorism is once again rearing its ugly head. Pakistan army must once again stamp it out, and this time it must be decisive.

Dude, what is it with you and wanting to bomb civilians?

Historically, attacking civilians has never worked as a deterrent, and has actually resulted in more aggressive stances from enemy forces. Attack civilians won't work, they'll just want revenge.

Best to target the leadership and the field commanders to fracture the group once more, but this time more thoroughly and permanently.

With US forces gone, and the taliban uncooperative, Pakistan should finally take the initiative to start targeting the ttp across the border. Pakistan knows where the bases are. PA and PAF have drones and fighter jets, use them to target the terror bases without having to send soldiers across.

On a side note, this would also allow Pakistan to test its newly acquired systems in actual combat outside of the Pakistan territory.

We don't want him to he like General Raheel Shareef. We want him to be better than General Raheel Shareef. That way terrorism will dealt an even bigger blow

There needs to be a consequence.

What is the difference between this and an army of another country attacking Pakistan?

What would the reaction of PA be if the Afghan army attacked Pakistan?

It would be to destroy their bases right? Collateral damage would be expected?

It is the only way to get the message across. The peace talks clearly didn't work. They need to be made to understand they are not invincible and untouchable.

With all due respect, but you are crazy. You are suggesting Pakistan sends nearly all of its active Personnel to fight a war in Afghanistan alongside launching a nuke. Neither Soviets or USA/NATO coalition even had that thinking.

An all out war would put civilians of Afghanistan against us, thus possibly rallying them to fight against Pakistan and with the TTP/IEA. Not to mention how the winds will literally carry the radiation from the nuke into other countries causing a whole other mess

He's suggested using biological and chemical arms on afghanistan.
