Assam's Bengali region demands economic autonomy

Sounds like slaughter a goat without killing it and spilling a drop of blood.

Sens were evil and Raja Dahir was evil for protecting their kingdoms. RIP Logic.:cry:

Sens were the first who introduced caste system in Bangladesh and subjugated the local Hindus and Buddhists, people were just searching for a way to escape their tyranny. It was just a cake walk for Bakhtiar Khalji, he invaded Bangladesh with just 18 horsemen, didn't have to face any resistance.

Did Bakhitiar Khilji know about it though telepathy that Hindus and Buddhists need a savior.

Damn good case study for a human psychology course though, the shame of defeat is just too hard to accept, even after 800 years, so lets distort the facts to form a favorable narrative.

Yes, everyone was evil for getting massacred by central Asian nomads.

Nope, after conquering Bihar he was eying for Bangladesh. Bakhtiar Khilji was a skilled horse rider and on his way to Bangladesh, he was riding so fast that only 18 of his troops could keep up with him. He himself was quite surprised to see the lack of resistance to the invasion.

What fairy tales? There was one report about this which has any credibility. It mentions that he got separated from his main force by riding hard, and there were only 18 of them when they reached the outskirts of Lakhnauti. They then mingled with the crowds, pretending to be up-country horse traders, who travellled armed in those days, as almost all traders did, till they reached the gates of the palace. There they attacked the unwary guards, killing them and storming into the palace. There were no other soldiers on duty, the emperor was sitting down at lunch, when this rude interruption occurred. In that noisy confusion and terror, the emperor was hurried out of the back entrance, onto the river jetty and left by boat, still unaware of what had really happened. Soon Khilji's other troops arrived, and the Turks had a real grip on the situation.

The source is Minhaj al-Siraj's Tabaqat i Nasiri.

I've said this before and I'll say it again....oh, what's the use? never mind.
