A child who lives in an meat eating society / environment is automatically desensitized towards violence to some level. This is broadly reflected in US society and how it turned into a police state.

It was reflected by its ready acceptance for slavery, both by islam and chritianity, and the only region where slavery did not take place was India. (except after islamic invasion)

A civilized society is not governed by laws, but by the civilizational aspect that installs self governance and self control. That is why even though India is the least policed country in the world, we have the least amount of violence too. (Except when its introduced by islam or communism)

One question. Who do you regard as child/ minor? One who is less than 18 years of age or one who hasn't obtained puberty?
