What's new

As of today. Strait of Hormuz is closed for US

Not a big difference. Southern part of the strait is Omani waters. USA can use that part. Shooting conflict wont happen.

Its okay. Low IQ idiots can't comprehend basic points.

Leave it for others. They'll understand and respond.

You claim that Iran’s military is weak, and then you say U.S. is opting for regime change through economic sanctions because Irans military is weak :cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

If Irans military is weak, US would have opted for the military option rather than sanctioning Iran, which is proven to not work btw. Even George.W.Bush who was the most hardcore republican president of US, didn't attack Iran.

At least stupid low IQ people understand when they are wrong. But you are something else entirely.

Dont know if this is true or not but according to RT. Anyone who wants to enter Strait of Hormuz will need permission from IRGC

If US wants to enter Hormuz Strait, it must talk to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards – FM Zarif

If the US seeks to operate in the Hormuz Strait, the Persian Gulf’s major trade route, it must talk to those who defend it, FM Zarif said, referring to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, which the US has declared ‘terrorists’.
Anyone who enters the Strait of Hormuz has to work with regional powers providing security for the area, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said at an Asia Society event in New York, adding that this means cooperating with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The foreign minister warned Washington against any “crazy moves” that could harm Iranian security, particularly its ability to transport oil through the strait, while saying that Tehran is “open for dialogue.”

“We believe that Iran will continue to sell its oil. We will continue to find buyers for our oil and we will continue to use the Strait of Hormuz as a safe transit passage for the sale of our oil,” he said.

If the United States takes the crazy measure of trying to prevent us from doing that, then it should be prepared for the consequences.

Zarif’s warning came days after the Trump administration announced its decision to lift sanctions waivers for Iran’s eight biggest oil buyers to continue importing certain volumes of oil despite the US restrictions re-imposed last year after Washington unilaterally left the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

Washington’s renewed push to reduce Tehran’s oil imports to “zero” has already sparked resentment in Ankara and Beijing. Both previously enjoyed the waivers scheduled to expire by May. Zarif noted that if the White House wants to bring Tehran to the negotiating table, it would be wise to drop the threats and try talking to Iran instead.

“We’re allergic to pressure,” he said. “Try the language of respect, it won’t kill you, believe me.”

the last time they tried
well, the U.S.A got it opened..........

Will it still be able to open it if Turkey, Azerbaijan, Pakistan stood with Iran?. Just the show of unity will be enough for second thoughts of powers that be.

We can never really be in Arab camp, the above 4 should be the foundation of Regional cooperation and Defence, I know one can dream but every success & plan had a dream.

Good.

Pakistan does not care if it becomes "one of several" nuclear Muslim states. Our nuclear capability is primarily to cage india within ganga plains and make india irrelevant geopolitical entity devoid of any chances of expansion (whether physical or cultural). We have done it successfully and will continue to do so.

Secondly, holy sites of Mecca Medinah are protected by our nuclear umbrella and no state is stupid enough to try to launch an invasion on holy cities anyways.

Besides that, Iran...KSA...Turkey...they all can have nuclear weapons. Good for them, we don't care

If KSA has nuclear weapons why would they want pakistan's nukes ? pakistan is irrelevant to them

Hehe. Don’t get ahead of yourself. The Strait is Iranian territory.

Ask the Arab states. they would beg to differ with you

As per international law it is an international waterway. Right now the US Navy is out there to enforce it

Iran haven't missiles out of 2000km range

Only officially. But if we believe official data of Khorramshahr missile to be true.

"The Khorramshahr (Persian: خرمشهر‎), named after the city of Khorramshahr in Iran, is a medium-range ballistic missile that was tested by Iran in January 2017. Its range is between 1,000–2000 km with a 1,800 kg warhead and is 13 m in length"

If it can travel 2000km with 1800kg payload, it can easily travel 4000km with 500kg payload

He is being misquoted and states if they are being prevented from using it they would close the strait. Imo, Iran has no good options, US is putting maximum pressure and it's unclear what they want and Iran will not change its policies in the region. So if Iranian exports really become as low as US aims for, then you can say this is gonna go pretty far.

Saudi Arabia and UAE must got some kind of commitment from the US and they want to go for regime change even if it means war. But, is KSA ready for such a war and able to withstand it?

Most Arab states will state out of such a war, especially Egypt. I think MBS has managed to secure a new strategic commitment from the US and now they are going for maximum pressure. Obviously they at least believe they are prepared for war but I don't know how big of a commitment US will make. Saudi Arabia needs clear objectives in such a war but I don't see them being able to achieve them. Iran would go on downward spiral but they will put up a war of attrition.

Of course Iran might just take this and try waiting it out.

Not really Iran will crumble under pressure if anything it will be war to eliminate them. Saudi has many allies in the region to take care of matters. Iran will have to fire back at Saudi arabia thats when you will see neighbours invading Iran from all corners. Saudi is holy land and war on the holy land is war on all Muslims. This will not go well for Iran. Turkey and Pakistan will have to by default intervene on behalf of Saudi Arabia. The holy land belongs to all muslims and the protection of it is for all and required by all muslims

I think Iran's current state would collapse if a war broke out and I couldn't predict Iran's future from there. That would be up to the Iranians. I do think you falsely assume your allies would support you directly. It's unlikely they will contribute military support. And we don't know how it will play out in Iraq. For me I want to understand did MBS get assurances or does he and his allies have a strategy incase a war breaks out? Can they really do regime change ?

War is not on holy land, holy land is Mecca and Madina, rest is all fair game.

Any Arab is a good game especially a gulf Arab, targeting them with ruthless force will quickly show they lack courage and stomach to fight.

Arabs are being haunted by their own foundation of Treachery, they are nations handed to them as their reward. They never came through public support, they are trapped in a cycle of paranoia that they will be ousted.

Yes they can. When war kicks off. But before that preparations will be needed to alienate Iranian elements in most countries and start harsh crack-downs and then take them down permanently
