Artillery worth Rs 2,000 cr kept in storage found unfit

I'm not convinced this is such a big issue. Did they evaluate if the storage conditions are detrimental to the stored artillery? Every device has a range of environmental conditions for storage and usage. I'm fairly sure that Artillery would be fine in any decent storage.
