Well the so called armenian genocide is also "deportation" according to turks which they say they can proof it and invites independent academics profs and historians to examine their archives it seems fair to me.

But deported 5 million turks which 50% died/killed = not genocide??

The 5 million deported covers a time span of over 100 years during multiple wars as is your victim toll and that includes WW1 and death tolls in Africa,Anatolia,Crimea,not only the Balkans.A little diffrent from something which happened in 1915-1916,a relatively short period of time.

It's lime me saying that there was a genocide on Romanians by adding numbers of dead people from 1821,1848 revolutions,1877 Independence War,WW1,WW2 and counting them altogether as a united phenomenon.
