Iran to Unveil New Air Defense Equipment on Army Day

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Air Defense will unveil its latest equipment in an upcoming parade marking the National Army Day, a ranking commander announced on Saturday.

Lieutenant Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base General Ali Reza Sabahi-Fard said the new gear, to be unveiled in the Sunday parades, will demonstrate Iran’s power and glory to the world.

Every year, different units of the Army hold nationwide parades to mark the Army Day, which falls on April 17 this year.

The Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made great headways in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the arms sphere.

Iran has made it clear that its military power poses no threat to the regional countries, saying that the Islamic Republic’s defense doctrine is entirely based on deterrence.

these are radar and communication & command truck & assembly crane truck they all can be used in PUM1 and PUM 2 so ............. thises are all which we already built our self and have technology , is about missiles . the equipments could been upgraded from analog to digital with electronic warfare as long as we get the 48N6E2 missile with new siker and computer inside missile .


so far look to me PUM2 but Russia side can play us

as long as we get our hand two type of missile

Excellent equipment . I sincerely hope Iran is successful in acquiring the S-300 to improve it's air defensesystem.

The worrying thing is, the PMU2 uses the same radars and missiles, but upgraded. So we have no idea just by looking at pictures. The 48N6E is the one in the PMU1, 48NE2 in the PMU2.

whats so special about the 48NE2 missile thart Iran not mastered to overcome technologically?
you told us that iran already overcome the PMU-2 technolgy, but not the 48NE2 missile technology, am im right?

BTW: WHERE THE F... IS B-373.....i can only guess, its not yet finished.....no logic behind not showing it if its ready, because a) defensive weapon 2) S-300 already there....

You are mistaken. You posted a picture of the Big Bird. If you look at the radar element, you will see it has many grooves on the side . The Tomb Stone (below) does not.
