UK cannot do anything to this deal and they won’t. They sell weapons to India, have we ever said anything? And they have no influence over Pakistan. Even if they did, China would go through with the deal anyways.this could get very interesting
I wonder if UK has any objections
London and Islamabad are close
and they could kill the deal
Block III is a lethal aircraft and although it cant pose a threat to the Falklands UK might not be too happy
however since the French have been done over in AUKUS now France could sell aircraft to Argentinians so UK might see it favourably
lets wait for official confirmation
my concern is why are we selling Block III when we have not inducted it yet and hopefully its a heavily downgraded version
we should never export Block III no matter what
It is a request that is yet to be approved... Read the article it clearly states that it is not finalized.Magic word is ALLOCATES 664M......not requested or plans.
Argentina allocates 664M for JF-17 Block III purchase in FY2022
Very likely approved. Argentina has no choice. No western arms becos of UK influence. Russia only accept cash. Chinese weapon is the only option. It is a request that is yet to be approved... Read the article it clearly states that it is not finalized.
Very much possible. Its production was already seized in 1979. Spares must be very scarceThey have very few Skyhawks operational, Maybe even less than 10.
Argentina will never buy France weapon again. Has France not delayed the shipment of Exocet anti ship missile to Peru in 1982. Argentina would have won the Falkland war by sinking HMS invincible.however since the French have been done over in AUKUS now France could sell aircraft to Argentinians so UK might see it favourably

denial is a comforting state of Mind!India never ever offered Tejas to Argentina.
We won't go against UK.
The deal fell through bcuz Argentina only wanted to pay for the jets and not for the trucksif true their loss! they dint get the most advance fighter jet in the world TEJAS!!!
India not only offers the jet but also TATA truck so the jet can move easy!
Good obedient India to it's master.India never ever offered Tejas to Argentina.
We won't go against UK.
French may offer Rafale but it costs around 200 million dollars. Keeping in view current economic situation, Argentina cannot afford french deal. They have to go for "poor man's" option ie JF-17.this could get very interesting

India was placed on the red list too.....So stop being conspiratorial.
Nothing significantthe ejection seat for JF-17 is made by a British company, Martin-Baker.
