Are we able to make an aircraft like F-16?

IF we go down that road and opt for two different fifth generation fighters, i think TFX a more likely choice compared o J20. However it is just my guess worth taking with a pinch of salt here :)

Time will tell.

I would however again say that we still need 100-120 more planes in JF17 Blk III + category. Without them the numbers do not make any sense.
depends on what comes first and i suspect the ngf would play a large role to which would likely be a 5th gen version of the jf-17. dont have too much salt your blood pressure will go through the roof .
as for 100+ jf-17 blk3? who knows.

JF17 Block 1 was already equal to F16 from mechanical prespective
We are way ahead of the curve

Not really.
Look at the range, payload, combat radius and you will see that over the years F16 have evolved into a great platform. To our credit, YES WE SHOULD BE PROUD that we are in a position were get to compare our 8-10 years mature aircraft with a decades old fully matured aircraft (note that the latest blocks modern day tech) that comes from a super power which is much more advanced than us. To be in the same ball park, to be able to compare them both is an achievement in itself and it is a certainty and JFT will go way beyond the point it currently is at. The blk-III promises many goodies.

Battle proven against what?

3rd world military with out of date technology?

Saab technology has been evaluated by serious third parties who have multiple vendors competing for the contract. All Chinese sales are to friendlies like Pakistan, North Korea etc. which do not have the choice of vendors

I'm not a technical guy. I have no good knowledge of aeronautical engineering. But I'm interested to know if we have ability to manufacture an aircraft like F-16?

JF-17 is mashaAllah a wonderful project. Can't we get China or Russia to do another joint venture for something like or better than F-16?

Writing "Peace" on an operational military aircraft.....ironic isn't it?

F-16 production going to India means they will be compeating JF-17. So we have already done it in hearts of the enemy. :)

PAF tailor made an aircraft i.e. JF-17 Thunder according to the exact requirements. It is a very smart start by PAF in the journey towards indeginization. CAS announced it many times in his speech and now official the Aviation City plan has been unfolded. JF-17 Thunder is the destiny of Pakistan. It is going to be a 4++ generation technology which will easily serve the cause. Pakistani Armed Forces (army, navy, airforce) are best in utilizing the terrain against enemy.

As far as the matter of F-16 is concerned, it is a political question. We can make an F-16 but we don't have will, need and funds to do that. Chinese can build a J-11 from Su-27 so building an F-16 is not a big deal but it is not the way. We do not need to build F-16s. Official plan is to work on the evolution of JF-17 and a next generation stealth fighter which will be probably a 5.5th generation inshaAllah. CAS Aman once hinted at a new heavyweight twin engine fighter which we can develop at Aviation City, i don't remember the exact location of interview now.

Yes, You are right, it must be fake.... www.pac.org.pk.

But I am not blaming them, they are relying on data from Chengdu,
and most information from that country and it citizens is fake, or?

This is a bit old, so You are Welcome to produce a newer source.
Feel free to produce an updated figure, and don't forget to update the Wiki, which also says
4,000 hours or 25 years, but maybe maintaining the wiki is not of interest,
so PAC employees does not care that is wrong.
I dont understand why the brochure is still using pounds for weight measures then uses metric elsewhere. very confusing. we dont use imperial here at all - when BAE techs came over that was always a huge pushback - 101 lesson memo sent - leave your imperial measurements as it is foreign to us. metric measurements, kN, knots. Here noone knows these measurements as they were discarded across the board back in 60s.

Block 1 JF17 Thunder , Already above expectation in 2009
