Be it self-introspection doubts like whether Indian space missions were real or hoax, indigenous or copied, be it enemy's weaknesses like change in Tibet's demography, be it the question of how useful ISI has really been to Pakistan, are we (me and my friend @Bharat Muslim ) the only ones who ask hard honest questions?

Anyways, is it true that Tibet's demography has changed substantially? If yes, what is the current ratio of Tibet's original inhabitants to alien settlers?
@Char

But the facts are the Chinese are raping, killing and committing cultural genocide in Tibet.
We, Indians beg to differ. Despite having border dispute with China, we don't believe Chinese are committing genocide and rape. Changing demographics, yes. But not rape and genocide.

And YOU know that. And you knowingly exaggerated.

Tibet has a very small population and the land is very sparsely populated, now they got tons of money from tourism and government direct investment, Now Tibet ahs the world class of everything, what China did for Tibet is hundreds of times better than Dalai Lama did to his serf subjects.

ON a serious note, how can 1.5 lakh Tibetan refugees become ambassadors for a closer Indo China relationship ?

Every threat also represents an incredible opportunity.

If these Tibetan refugees can help bring our countries closer together, then shouldn't the govt. of both nations find a way forward ?

They chose Dalai Lama and now they are not Chinese, India already issued Indian passports to them and they are technically Indians. They, like Dalai Lama himself, will nver be allowed to set their feet on the Chinese soil again.

That is the present status.

I am talking about using them as an doorway and ambassadors to building a friendly and mutually beneficial relationship between India and China.

Ironically, this is what pakistan suggest to India all the time. TO use kashmiris as goodwill ambassadors to build friendly relationship with India.

If anything, they are more like enemies than friends, they hate us and to be frank we also hate them. If not for them China and India's relations can be much much better, China will not allow them to come to China.

Hate is nothing by Love in another form. True opposite of love is Indifference.

It's hard to visualize Tibetans in India hating anyone. They are a very peaceful and peaceful society. There has never been any incident of violence from them. It is unlikely they will start if they return back to their homeland.

If they do, it will boost trade between India and China considerably. It will stabilize your border population and will make tibet more productive.

Chinese govt. today is stable enough to handle any small incidence and there can be agreements with India to defuse any major threat to china via tibet.

Its pretty silly to blame the innocent refugees for political problems between two of the largest nations in the world. We need to take more responsibility than that.

Chinese have freedom of movement in the country, and there will be more Chinese in Southern Tibet in the future.
