I'll have to give this more thought...but I don't see how you or I can impose such a revision of culture upon Arabs: admitting to the crimes they committed against Jews is too much for them. That's the lesson of the "peace process": the assumption was that if the Palestinians grossly transgressed the agreements their Arab brethren would push them back into line. Instead, when Arafat preferred to declare another intifada rather than change the culture most Arabs and Muslims supported his terror and violence, rather than openly support the Israelis.

I'll have to give this more thought...but I don't see how you or I can impose such a revision of culture upon Arabs: admitting to the crimes they committed against Jews is too much for them. It seems they peacefully coexist in the case of Kosovo. In the case of the middle east there are many agendas or interests mixed together and often at odds with each other. We've seen that the position a state takes in these issues can have dramatic effects on the culture or viewpoints of arabs toward that state. Whatever Israel have done or is doing now is not making the viewpoints of arabs more positive towards it and vice versa. But if we focus on Israel, what could it do to change that?

They are just a destructive force and consume too much of earth's resources but do nothing for earth and goodness of humanity in spite of being wealthy and rich.

Our Afghans have been somehow the same, but i see things are changing now. The attitudes of young people are different. Arabs are totally different, worse then us.

Israel could treat Arabs under its control despotically and cruelly until they and their progeny and cousins are stupefied or sing of Israel's "goodness" under threat of compulsion - but Israel chooses to maintain higher moral standards for itself than its neighbors do. Pity so few people around the world recognize that but as long as all Israelis can thrive and prosper without terror I suppose the situation is tolerable. (The Israelis here may have their own opinions about this, of course.)

I was referring to a regional context. But domestically as you focus on obviously a significant portion of arabs disagree with what you describe or they dont put a lot of weight to it. Can it not be that the core issue is something else then and not how Israel is domestically treating its arabs?
