I have found muslim arabs (palestine, Jordan, Syria, egypt, lybian, alerian, moroccan) very similar to me in mindset and behavior while living here in Germany. This was a pleasant surprise for me. There are no Gulf arabs here so I don't know the situation with them. I am from Gujranwala pakistan so culturally a punjabi muslim. I had a good moroccan arab friend while I was doing an odd job together with him in a restaurant. I had very close jordanian, syrian and egyptian arab friends who were my class mates or friends of my arab class mates. I found their sense of humor as well as sense of grief very similar to me or my family back home. I never felt like this with turks, iranians, indians or people of other cultures. But it could be possible my experience is different than others.

The average Pakistani does not sing it either but it is cultural. This is perhaps where the difference comes in. NaatKhawan were kids (young adults) who would go around singing these naats in order to wake people up for sehri during Ramazan. Hence while this does not happen now (because we have the emergency sirens and loud speakers) we celebrate this part of our culture.

here is an old version which translates the Arabic into both Urdu and English. This has been sung by many others in different countries.

Here is another one with a Canadian twist
Arabs
Never heard an Arabic Nasheed?
Only on YouTube videos. I have never seen it in person.

Many Pakistanis believe that the Saudis have sponsored extremism/extremists in Pakistan

Only landay ka liberals believe this not common Pakistanis

And then there are those also who are not happy with the way Saudis treat/consider Bakistanis.

As most of Pakistanis in Arab countries are doing jobs of lower social status so rich Arabs consider them inferior
It happens everywhere elite class considers common people inferior to themselves

It is common knowledge that the Saudis had been sponsoring the Jihad Inc. in Pakistan (that turned against the state later) since the Soviet-Afghan war. While one could argue that what the Saudis did at that time in collaboration with the Yanks and the Pakistani establishment was for 'the greater good', it still does not absolve any of them of the responsibility of creating the Frankenstein's Terrorism Monster.

It's not just the elite class Arabs who consider 'lower class' Pakistanis as 'Inferior'... Common Saudis consider common Pakistanis as inferior and the Government of Saudia officially discriminates against ALL Pakistanis (and the citizens of other third world countries) regardless of their professional/educational backgrounds and would pay them less compared to the citizens of developed countries..... The lengths to which some of us would go to defend their Arab masters :disagree:

Pakistan started supporting Afghan mujahedeen on its own Saudi and American funding started later

(and the citizens of other third world countries)

Same what I said you yourself are telling the reason for this descrimination
which is them being from third world countries someone from a rich country would definitely consider a person from poor or third world inferior

Too much for "Kisi Arabi ko kisi Ajmi pe, na kisi Ajmi ko kisi Arabi pe koi Fauqiat Hasil hai" or Ummah delusions, No?

And no, the Non-Muslim governments of the developed/rich countries (the west) do not allow discrimination based on ethnicity or race (or even religion). Stop trying to defend the indefensible.

As far as i know Arab rulers aren't very religious
Saudia Arab has always helped Pakistan hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis are working in Arab countries and are sending dollars back to Pakistan
instead of being thankful to Arabs for this people like you always bad mouth them
those people who don't like the behavior of Arabs simply don't go there no one is forcing you to go and work for arabs

I have never heard an Arab singing a Hymn.
I have seen Turks and Chechens doing Thikr in a circle singing. Which from my Islamic teachers is haram but...
Naats are mostly poetry praising the Prophet (SAW) or expressing ones love for him. They can also be about other religious figures and also for Allah. I think this tradition stems from our "Sufi" heritage, although Shias do it too.

But not trying to point any fingers here but in many of these countries, including Pakistan, Islam is only selectively followed.

I lived in the Gulf for almost 5 years, this is nonsense. So long as you're not poor and can pass as an Arab in terms of looks they will treat you fine. And it's not like other countries aren't the same. This Arab bashing is just getting silly.

Go worship your Arab masters, no one is stopping you

@Dubious

What the hell is this crap?

Exactly, my uncles have lived for 30 years in saudi arabia and did only labor type of work, I never heard about any kind of hate for arabs from them. That is why I don't understand why people badmouth gulf arabs here. My uncles said they treated them just normal, no different than how we treat our employees in pakistan. Some people here seem to have "entitilement" syndrome, they believe others should respect them out of their way. But that doesn't even happen in pakistan, how can it happen in a foreign country.

Stating facts about KSA is not 'badmouthing' Arabs or 'hating' Arabs, my Arab wannabe friends. Don't let your 'love' blind you.

The wages system in Saudi Arabia is largely based on nationality:
